He is a good doctor but is certainly a smart aleck. I don't feel comfortable going back to him so he can mock me or make fun of me.

I have been with Dr. Pendergrass for about 15 years. He is always caring and concerned. He really takes time to talk with me, he never seems to be in a hurry or rushed. He is very knowledgeable in treating diabetes and what medications are good and up to date. He also watches my labs very carefully and knows when something is off or not and then helps to find the reason. I am so glad that Neosho is blessed to have him in our community.

Dr. Pendergrass was my PCP for about 8 months & during that time I was given the wrong medication 3 times. Twice the meds prescribed by him or his Nurse Practitioner caused me to be hospitalized & to under go many costly tests. He was the rudest Doctor I have ever encountered in my life. On my last visit he told me that I was a lazy bum & that I was faking my symptoms in order to stay on medical leave. He offered to sign me up for Social Security Disability so that I could lay around and be lazy. Obviously this poor excuse for a Doctor didn't even read my chart to see that I am already on SSD & I'm trying to return to work to support my family. Shortly after getting a new PCP I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer & on Feb 1st 2016 I am scheduled to have a Lobectomy to remove the middle lobe of my right lung. I will continue to tell EVERYONE about this man & his reluctance to believe me or to even follow up with the Real Doctors that he sent me to.
