Called to reschedule a procedure 3 days in advance (as required). My other doctor recommended I reschedule until after I completed other tests. The scheduler was rude and abrupt and clearly didn't want to be bothered. I decided to just cancel altogether - if you can't be civil with me for a very simple request, then I'll go elsewhere.

Dr. Stein is an excellent, caring, and knowledgeable doctor. He cares about each patient and he works hard to provide the best treatment for each of his patients.

After a CAT scan for another issue, it was noted that I had an abnormality between my large and small intestines. Dr Stein’s office called to set up an appointment for a colonoscopy to further examine this area. I was scheduled on Friday for a Monday exam, even though this was Dr Stein’s day to be at the hospital. He came in and did my colonoscopy on his way to the hospital at 6am. Everything turned out good, but I want to thank him and the staff for getting me in on such short notice and resolving my concerns so that I could enjoy the approaching holidays. Great facility and doctor.

Hey, if you're looking for someone that is interested in lining his Endo center register right next store he's for you. He'll insist on getting you a colonoscopy....for those who know him,...am I right? If your symptoms are under control you know how to manage things-don't need him. But when the Fit hits the Shan, he's not your Man. You will wish you had someone that is a greater advocate and more adept GI physician. Don't need to go into detail with my experience with him. Lets just hope this helps someone when deciding. I can't recommend him for a GI physician. If you're looking for an easy going nice guy...he's for you.

Very patient oriented. Takes time to answer all your questions and doesn't let the computer get between himself and patient. Highly recommend.

I have Crohn's Disease(IBD) and have been to many gastro docs through out my illness (38 yrs) and Dr Stein is the best!! He is the most caring, compassionate, attentive & informative gastro doc I have ever seen. I was extremely lucky to find him. I think he should be given a medal!!
