I would not recommend seeing this doctor. On more than one occasion, my appointment was marked as a no-show without any communication or effort to reschedule or explain what happened. There was no courtesy call or follow-up, which I found very unprofessional. During visits, I often felt rushed and unheard. My concerns were not fully addressed, and it seemed like my input was overlooked. Blood work was ordered at nearly every appointment, and I was frequently referred out to specialists without clear explanations. It appears that the practice may be overbooked, which could be contributing to the lack of communication and attentiveness. Most concerning was receiving a termination letter citing my behavior after an appointment was missed without any prior communication from the office. I believe that if a provider is unable to attend a scheduled appointment, patients deserve to be notified out of basic courtesy and respect. For these reasons, I would recommend considering another primary… care provider.

Dr. Bowe will take her time to meet with you as a new patient. After that, all other appointments with her are to rush you out the door! She will not take her time to discuss the problems you are having, but has no problem sending you for blood work at every appointment and making unnecessary appointments with specialists. I guess if she’s not paying for them it doesn’t matter. I wish Maggie Brown was still working at her office, Bowe could learn a lot!!!!

I was born with spina bifida, I’m totally disabled. I’ve been drawing disability for over 20 yrs. now. I asked Dr.bowe for a handicap parking placard. She sent me to a neurosurgeon to evaluate my condition. The neurosurgeon said I had arthritis in my neck & my spine & obviously nerve damage from spina bifida. So, I print out the paper from the DMV to get my handicap parking placard. She refused! She said I didn’t meet the criteria. I asked for a parking placard NOT pain meds!!! What a quack!!!… 1 more thing , on my very first visit with her, she was wanting to put in a feeding tube because she says I was underweight. I’ve weighed the same weight since I was 18 years old! I talked to my gastroenterologist, and he said that she was crazy for wanting to have that procedure done. Remember, she had only known me for five minutes when she suggested a feeding tube. She really does not need to be practicing medicine. Time to find a real Dr. who cares about there patients!

I searched Vitals to find a Doctor whose services were covered by my healthcare plan. Switching from an Gyn who I really liked and had been with for years is a daunting and stressful act. I trusted the reviews on Vitals and they proved accurate. Dr. Bowe is a great person who is warm and friendly. She is a great listener. I am glad to say I have found a new doctor who I feel comfortable with and trust.
