Dr. Curt Ira Parnes, MD

Dr. Parnes has been rude and arrogant every single time that we have seen him, and has treated my husband and I like we are idiots...which is hardly the case. He is dismissive and acts like a stereotypical “I know it all” doctor and gets caught up in semantics. He talks down to parents and God help you if you aren’t breastfeeding till age 1 - he treats you like you’re the worst parent ever. He also barely makes eye contact with me when I am with my husband, as if I’m not important enough to be addressed directly. He’s an intelligent person, and some people seem to love him, but his bedside manner is horrendous.

Discussing medical issues with Dr. Parnes can be difficult. He can be arrogant and intimidating when you disagree with his opinion which feels very uncomfortable. If I have a choice, I am not sure I will take my kids to see Dr. Parnes again.

Dr. Parnes had told me that my son was perfectly healthy and that nothing was wrong with him. Two hours later I was in the ER with my son then in the ICU with him. My son spent a week in the hospital because he was so sick. I have nver had such a terrible experience with a doctor. He is extremely rude. Thank God I got my son to the hospital when I did. And didnt listen to what Dr. Parnes had to say!
