Dr. Curtis Ray Evans, MD

I saw Dr Evans for the first time today and was very impressed with his bedside manner and felt he was very knowledgeable. I am an RN in a hospital so I am around many doctors. Thank you Dr Evans!

Dr Evans has always gone above and beyond to help me! He explains everything so I understand and if he doesn’t know the answer he says so. I respect that. He is very knowledgeable in several different areas and is very compassionate. The office staff and nurses are always friendly & professional making me feel at ease and welcomed. Dr Evans and staff are wonderful and I would recommend him highly. I’ve been going to him for 20 years since he took my case!

Told me I didn’t need counseling when I asked if he could provide a referral, that medication was better and insisted that I try yet another antidepressant. He let me down terribly. I never went back to him.

Dr. Evans is the doctor I have been needing for years. He is very compassionate and truly cares for your health and well being. He has a gift to be able to see what is truly going on even when we can’t.

This doctor is the most unprofessional physician that I have ever encountered My mother has been going to Dr. Curtis Evans office for over a year. After her visits with him, she would come home distraught and upset, stating that he was very controlling and refused to listen to her when she tired to explain how she felt. On more than one occasion, he over medicated her with sedative drugs and she stayed asleep for at least a week at a time. He decided that she needed to be treated for depression and when he was asked about the drug he prescribed, he merely stated that she just needed to take it and it was miracle drug that would cure everything. I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. She asked what the drug was treating if it wasn't for depression and he wouldn't give her any explanation. He was very disrespectful to her and attacked me when I tried to explain why she sometimes goes to the Emergency Room rather then calling him after hours. He was so kind as to tell me that… it was my fault for encouraging her to go to the Emergency Room. A doctor cannot diagnose every medical condition over the telephone. He was bold and yelled that he could treat her for everything over the telephone. Dr. Curtis is a controlling bully and has no business treating our elderly family members. I wouldn't take an animal to him for treatment after the encounter that I witnessed and endured!

Got wrong diagnosis which put me in the hospital. Doesn't listen and no follow up visit.
