Dr. Curtis Scott Horn, MD

Dr. Horn and his staff are fabulous. I was recently seen on an emergency basis and got prompt, thorough, and caring service.

It may not be Dr. Horn, but his office double bills and adds extra procedures onto your bill that are not performed. Despite having numerous discussions with BHS Physicians Network (Horn's provider) there is no attempt to rectify the errors.

Dr. Horn treated me with such respect and kindness. Great bedside manner! He took the time to truly listen to me and not just push me out the door in order to see another patient. Dr. Horn’s office staff was very friendly and easy to work with.

In general, I have been disappointed with the office staff in the new facilities. When you walk up to the window to check-in, the staff continue to talk with each other and pay very little attention to you. Their attitude seems to be that you are there for them, not that they are there to serve you. I was also disappointed when calling to make an appointment. Someone was supposed to call me back about potentially getting me in to see the doctor before he was off for a week. I did not receive a call until the next week.

Dr. Horn is a great physician. Never felt rushed. Answered all my questions. I will continue to see him. His nurse is very kind.

This was my first trip to see Dr. Horn. We had a good visit. He asked plenty of questions about my medical and prescription history and gave me a referral to an Ob-Gyn. He gave me a refill on a pill for anxiety and did not prescribe any new treatment until he'd gotten more information about a mood stabilizer I took recently. Dr. Horn seems like a good doctor. If I have a complaint, it's that I waited more than a half hour in my room before he came in. My appointment was at 8:30 and I showed up with my paperwork already printed and filled out, but it was after 9 before he saw me. This isn't the first time this has happened at a doctor's office. There's usually a delay caused by patients arriving later than expected for earlier-scheduled appointments. I recognize there's a lag, but it penalizes those of us who arrive on time. In the future, I'd like to see the doctor within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment. Otherwise, there's no point in arriving early.

I have had Dr. Horn as my primary doctor for about 25 years. I have the utmost confidence in him and his P.A., Dustin Deemer. I always receive quality care from them. I whole-heartedly recommend this team.

He's been our family doc for about 30 years. Better than Marcus Welby. Wish all the healthcare professionals were more like him.

This office staff is GREAT!!!!!!! , unbelievable, try them, you'll love them.
