Dr. Cynthia Cohen Goldberg, MD

The nurse was not personable, didn't really care what I was there for. The nurse questioned if I was there for an annual wellness exam, but I clarified I didn't plan for that and was only there for contraception discussion (IUD options); they seemed oddly disappointed and dismissive because of that. Then, Dr. Goldberg came into the room and began by introducing herself, asked me the reason of my visit, and asked if I had any questions. I then asked my questions and she did a great job explaining everything to me, however, she did not present the appointment with any empathy. I told her my reason why I wanted an IUD, which I shouldn't need to justify to the max, and she said, "well it's entirely up to you, but you shouldn't be worrying about putting a foreign body in your body if you don't really need to." Which I then said that it was beyond that, that I was doing it because I was concerned of the current & future climate for reproductive health and she replied, "you know that… shouldn't be the reason; I don't have a crystal ball or anything like that, but I can tell you that things won't go away in the next five minutes." I found her comments absurd and dismissive to my personal reasons.

I had a terrible experience. Dr Goldberg was dismissive and condescending, and I left the appointment feeling awful. I only wanted an expert's advice on a few medical considerations I was mulling over, and my primary doctor recommended me to this clinic. I grabbed the first appointment I could get because I'll be traveling soon. Dr Goldberg hardly listened to my questions and follow up questions and when she answered, she seemed completely put out to have to explain anything. I would never trust her with my care or to give advice. Luckily, a very kind receptionist helped me schedule a procedure with a different doctor who I hope will be better. I like the clinic and don't want to waste time doing another intake with another clinic so I hope this new doctor is more humane than Dr Goldberg.

Notified me to come 30 minutes early, so I left work to do so. When I arrived, I was told she would be 45 minutes late to my ORIGINAL scheduled time. Therefore, she was over an hour and 15 minutes late and I lost time from work.

Couldn't have cared less about me. Didn't look up at me but once and was actually TEXTING the whole time! Hello I'm not here for a check up, I am having SERIOUS issues and all she did was say here take these (which turned out to be a med that did not mix with my epilepsy meds and said it in BIG letters on the prescription paper and led to a massive rash ALL OVER and horrible cramps, Thanks again Dr. Goldberg! When I told her on my next visit 3 months later she just stared at me, like are you done, and didn't say one thing about it, or anything at all for that matter). Got to the pharmacy, of course not there. Called and the girl was AWFUL, which was weird because I thought all of the girls at the office were very nice. But Dr. Goldberg, if you don't like dealing with patients... GET A NEW JOB! So disappointed!

Ive been seeing this Doctor for all my pregnancys which are 3. always the great serviceof all staff. LOVE THEM!!!
