Dr. Cynthia Earhart Martin, MD

In my opinion this "doctor" should probably find another career path. She seems to lack a depth of medical knowledge and seems to be unwilling to research her patient's symptoms. Instead she tells her patient that their symptoms "don't make sense." Of course had she bothered to perform her due diligence she would not have said that. Ms. Martin basically tries to blame the patient for her own lack of knowledge. She also seems to have a very poor attitude and an arrogant, "I know it all" attitude which does not go well with someone that lacks a depth of medical knowledge and appears unwilling to learn or perform any research into her patients ailment. I would strongly recommend avoiding this "doctor"!

Saw this doctor several different times and each time was told my symptoms were just anxiety. She failed to diagnose multiple nutritional deficiencies that were causing a number of very real physical symptoms, as well as kidney stones, dismissing my back pain as "caused by stress". I cant understand why some people recommend her so highly. They must be getting different care than I did. All I can say is beware if she tells you your problems are psychological-- apparently there are some of us who she does not want to spend the time on and you will never get good care once she has placed you into that category.

As an 80 year old patient, I have had many years with medical providers. Dr. Cindy Martin is probably the very best doctor I have ever been with. She really listens - one of the most important medical skills necessary for a patient. Though this is a busy office, I never feel rushed and always have her complete attention during a visit. She is agreeable with my combining some natural remedies with my prescribed medications, and makes suggestions when I question different meds. As I am in the last chapter of life, I can count on her to help me have the best quality of life possible, and she does it all with good humor and a caring manner. Her office staff is also top notch.

Gave up quickly on diagnosing my ill child and tried to blame it on parents and call it psychological without consulting counselors who have seen the child. Doctor's solution is to force child to school despite vomiting and other acute symptoms. Added even more stress to the family by threatening to call Child Protective Services instead of supporting a mother who was desperately trying to find out what was wrong with her child. Told family that they needed to get used to the symptoms. Office staff was rude and unhelpful most of the time making me wait and actually go to the office to get answers on test results etc. No follow up by the doctor or staff even with a seriously ill child that was vomiting 3 times a day for over two months.
