Dr. Cynthia K Mcgarvey, MD

After reading reviews on several sites, it appears this woman has 2 very different sides. All good or all bad. My experience was BAD. She was rude, had no compassion for my pain,did not talk or explain anything,seemed like she wished I wasn't there, and when she was done-she just left! No good-by-she just LEFT!

Dr. McGarvey did an EMG/NCS on me and could not have done a better job. She was on time, polite, informative and professional. The NCS could have been painful, but was nothing more than a pin stick, and she apologized before she did it. Since I had another doctor appointment within an hour of the conclusion of my tests, she even had the preliminary results written and printed for me before I left her office. Great lady and I would recommend her to anyone.

Terrible bedside manner. She seemed to blame me for my condition. No ability to communicate without being offensive.

Diagnosed my frozen shoulder, performed exam and EMG, referred me to orthopedist

Very disinterested and lacked compassion. My mother had just suffered a major stroke and when I approached the doctor after her initial consultation with my mother, the doctor was more interested with texting on her phone than demonstrating common courtesy.
