Dr. Cynthia Thaik, MD

Do NOT go here! This woman should NOT have her MEDICAL LICENSE. She has consistently peddled her own holistic remedies for personal and financial gain. Nothing she pushes is evidence based medicine or backed by any insurance providers. One example: she has repeatedly pushed $500 worth of FISH OIL PILLS a month to treat treatment-resistant depression. She slips these items in your cart making it near impossible not to purchase. UNETHICAL ON MANY LEVELS. When we were new to the practice, she had no issue prescribing medications for psychiatric illness including XANEX to keep us as patients. However, now she is unwilling to prescribe evidence based medicine for mental health, citing that needs to be managed by a mental health care provider. But at the same point, she is more than willing to recommend supplements like the FISH OIL.

Wow! Wow I’d give Dr. Thaik a ten star if I could. I found her thru online search. I thought I give her a try. I was misdiagnosed by the previous HMO doctors who treated me like cattle. Dr. Thaik correctly diagnosed my condition and recommended steps to improve my health. She is not one those doctors who put stethoscope on your chest and said “yep, you got serious problem and here are some pills to solve it.” She cares about her patients’ well being and treat you with respect and kindness. If you are looking for a pill pusher, Dr. Thaik is not a doctor for you. Most doctors are too busy and they are trying to get you out the door ASAP. Dr. Thaik will be your health advocate for you. She thoroughly did all the test, gave me appropriate medications and advise me on, life style changes, stress management, diets and supplements. She truly cares about her patients.

Referred due to heart problems. Did some diagnostic tests and Rx. Had me meet with "health consultant" who pitched a detox program. I asked time to think about it. Went to doc next day who got irate with me about not taking the diet protocol. Told me they are very successful at what they do and they could not help me there. I got so upset my heart was palpitating and I could barely drive home. Clearly they are only interested in selling supplements and diet protocols and you aren't even granted time to think about it. I was very disappointed.

I have had 2 appointments with Dr. Thaik and I believe she and her staff are amazing! Dr. Thaik (Cynthia) made me feel very comfortable, and took the time to hear my concerns. She had tests done that were designed to provide clarity with any issues I had. Once they were completed she discussed things I could do, (detailed diet suggestions, spiritual/mindfulness) that would improve my health and well being. She didn't have to do that... there is no monetary gain to take her valuable time and offer suggestions. She didn't suggest further tests, hospitalization, drugs, etc. that most in her profession would. Not only would I recommend her to anyone I know that needs to see a cardiologist, but I believe her proactive approach that helps prevent most health issues is also vital for everyone to hear regardless of health! I have been going to Dr. Thaik on and off for a few years. The reason I leave is that the office gets too busy at times and mistakes are made. I went to an appointment a couple of weeks ago and one of the things I needed was to have my prescriptions refilled. While one of the nurses was inputing the information, Dr. T had him finish with me and go to another patient. He didn't finish what I needed and said he would finish later. I called today to see if in fact the meds were ordered and not only did they not say no, but they were sending me incorrect medications. This is inexcusable and would not recommend Dr. Thaiks office.

Exceptional Physician. Stellar staff. Warm, friendly, efficient.

Dr. Thaik is very thorough and takes what she does seriously. I went in for something that didn't end up being something I needed to worry about but if I had something wrong with my heart, I'd want Dr. Thaik to be the one to deal with it. She's tough though. If you want a doctor to sugarcoat things or say it's okay to eat a bunch of junkfood now and then--then she is not for you. She obviously practices what she preaches. She gives you a free copy of her book which I haven't read yet but am looking forward to it. She is a Buddhist, I think, and uses her beliefs in conjunction with her care. She believes that our thoughts have a lot to do with our bodies. Almost a bit New Agey, which I don't mind, but some people might.

Rare find! Professional, compassionate, thorough. Love her philosophical and mindful approach to health and healing. Will definitely recommend to family and friends

Dr. Thaik is an expert...it was apparent at my first visit that she is passionate about heart health: Dr. Thaik and her staff checked me out completely including a tread mill stress test to provide an exact diagnosis. I would recommend her to my family and friends.

Caring, kind, compassionate physician. Great staff. Overall excellent experience. Highly recommend.
