While I will say that the initial visit was good and I liked Dr. Balderas, everything after was terrible. He prescribed me a medication that ended up giving me insomnia. I called and sent a message in. Crickets. I finally scheduled a tele visit in order to know what to do next. I was told by him that our visit was going to cost me another $125. How is this any different that if I were to break a bone, and go in for a follow up post cast? Not at all what I expect out of a doctor to be charged to speak to him.

Dr. B treated me with care and respect. He made sure that the issue at hand was addressed before I left his office. I think I have found myself a new PCP, and a great one at that. Staff and nurses were all friendly as well.

I went in complaining of symptoms indicative of an autoimmune disorder. Balderas said that I was just fat and needed to exercise more (I'm 5'6", 170). Well, now I have permanent vision loss in my right eye from what my ophthalmologist describes as an "undiagnosed autoimmune episode". Will getting on a treadmill restore my vision, Dagoberto?
