Dr. Dainius Juknelis, MD

Dr. Juknelis needs to take a patient's health concerns more seriously. In my case, he provided medical advice quickly without investigating the root cause thoroughly. Since I was dissatisfied with Dr. Juknelis' impulsive recommendations, my lack of trust in him prompted me to research my own symptoms. I felt like a researcher helping him figure out what’s causing my health issue. A patient shouldn't have to do that! Furthermore, I had to request certain tests and appointments with specialists. Dr. Juknelis didn't think it was necessary to see a hematologist, but I insisted. The specialist was very thorough and listened to my concerns. He figured out the root cause and ordered an MRI, which I requested from Dr. Juknelis, but again he didn't think it was necessary. My last appointment with Dr. Juknelis was a horrible experience. He said something flippant to me that hurt me deeply. I was so distraught, left his office in tears and had no appetite for over 24 hours. I knew I… never wanted to see him again. The next day I found a new PCP.

Dr. Juknelis is my primary care doctor. I would like to express my greatest appreciation to him. He is very tactful and knowledgeable. Following up with my EKG he dived into such subtle details in his analysis I didn't expect any doctor would discuss with a patient. His explanations were so clear and caring, so if there were more stars, I would totally give them. Highly recommended!
