Dr. Dale Leon Coy, MD

Dr. Coy is very knowledgeable and compassionate. He listened to my concerns and his work with me to provide the best possible options for my treatment. He went out of his way to contact another physician for me while I was in his office at a visit. His genuine concern definitely shows. I am in the healthcare field and it is very rare that you come across a physician who is as willing to go above and beyond for his patients as Dr. Coy is. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Coy has experience, skill and is very personable.

Saw me in the hospital told me I wise fine after being in the hospital for 4 days. Told me my ct showed minor inflammation canceled the scope that was ordered for me sent me home. Was able to get a second opinion and emergency scope that showed I have extreme bad case of Erosive Gastritis as well as an inflamed colon and zero natural flora. Thanks for treating me like a drug seeker.

Dr. Coy and his fine staff have created a superlative adjoining facility where better than hospital quality services are performed. My experience was 5 star. I received a better than full explanation of what was to happen, with everything performed in timely fashion. Dr. Coy was very thorough and gave me a very professional summary of his findings. I believe my two-test experience exceeded any I have had at area hospitals. Highly recommended.

So glad I have encountered Dr. Dale Coy and his staff. I have total trust in his very professional ethics. He is a great guy to work with and his staff is very ,very helpful. A great gal named Julie, one of the receptionists, in particular, is a fantastic assistant. Any questions are answered in full detail. Leaving me with no doubt about what has to be done by me for any colon prep procedures. Dr. Coy is on top of my list of really GREAT G.I. Doctors! He is a MASTER of his medical profession. Myself being at the young age of 62, I am looking forward to a very, good, long patient/doctor relationship with this person. I feel very confident that I am in good hands with his overall professional medical knowledge and many plus years of medical experience. The good doctor is one of the most down to earth individuals I have come across in some years. I will always highly recommend Dr. Coy and his staff for years to come.

Great Doctor

Dr. Coy is a wonderful gastroenterologist! Before I had a serious condition pop up the end of 2016, I only saw him for routine testing and had no idea how good (and kind) this doctor would be. At this point he has helped tremendously as we work toward full healing. During these last months of treatment I have seen him pour his time into his patients in need...sometimes having to wait a little longer than my appt. only to see and learn of his heart and giving his best to his patients in need. I've been one of those squeezed in when needed and probably caused the next patient to wait. Believe me, he is well worth the wait, if you want a doctor who will be honest, tell you straight, tell you if he doesn't know, and listen to your questions and concerns. We are retiring and moving elsewhere and my biggest fear is finding another doctor. I said that to him and he will still work with me over the phone until I find my next doctor. I value his judgment and care so much, my husband said we… will just come back to IL a couple times a year if we need to.

I'm very happy with Dr. Coy's care. I have nightmarish problems with acid and reflux, which have caused scarring to my esophagus and severe difficulty with passing food from my esophagus into my stomach. I looked horrible because it was nearly impossible for me to sleep. My quality of life has changed immensely since seeing him.
