Dr. Damita Lynelle Bryant, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bryant for over a year. We have worked very hard to manage my migraines. It has been a partnership since she allows the patient to talk and considers what I say. That’s very important for a person living with migraines. She is knowledgeable about migraine care, and up to date on treatments. There are very few ‘migraine specialists’ in our country. We are very lucky to have her. The office is efficient and available to answer questions regarding appts, refills, etc.

Dr Bryant is filling in at Nashville Neuroscience for Dr Brandes yet is not a neurologist. Almost immediately, she began discussing changing the working medication regimen that took Dr Brandes and I years to perfect. The staff is extremely evasive about whether or not Dr Brandes will be returning and, if so, when. Very unhappy with Dr Bryant and this whole situation!

I wasn't expecting to see Dr. Bryant, but she was an unexpected surprise. I had been informed of the wait time beforehand, so that wasn't really an issue, but even if I hadn't been, she was well worth the wait. She listened to everything that I said and formulated a plan with several options to treat my issues. She had an excellent understanding of what would/would not work as well as why and was able to answer all of my questions and anticipate those I did not ask. No complaints!

I saw Dr. Bryant in Nashville. I actually thought I had an appointment with the other physician there so I was shocked to see Dr. Bryant walk in. However, Dr Bryant was amazing. I was a new patient for them but had seen other neurologists before. Dr. Bryant was by far the best neurologist that I have had contact with. She listens intently, doesn't interrupt and works to get to the root of the problem. She takes her time and doesn't make her patients feel like an imposition. Highly recommend!!! My only complaint would be the wait time. I was there for over two hours before I was ever taken to the exam room but she was well worth the wait!

I would rate her with no stars if I could. My first visit was with her at Nashville Neuroscience. She had not reviewed my file and could not answer any of my questions. Neurology is not her speciality. She was unprofessional and attempted to give me the scheduled Botox injections but could not properly inject the medicine without it leaking. Poorest service I have ever received from a healthcare professional.

Stay away from this idiot. She pushes spinal stimulators which have a 40% mechanical failure rate.

I had a great experience with Dr. Bryant. She gave me her undivided attention for the duration of my appointment. She took time to listen to my concerns and to answer all of my questions without ever rushing me. She also took the time to explain the root of my lower back problem and provided a clear plan of action for me.

Dr. Bryant is an amazing physician. Thank you, Dr. Bryant for the care you give to patients.
