Dr. Dan Kelly Eidman, MD

I live my pain doctor of 10 years to move over to Dr. Eidman because he wasn't just about drugs like my past doctor. He is really trying to find a solution to my back pain that I have suffered with for over 10 years. I have gotten to the point to where I can't take enough drugs to stop the pain without overdosing. I have only been with Dr. Eidman for 3 months now but he had done more tests on me in 3 months than my previous doctor did in 10 years. I feel he is really trying to pinpoint exactly where the pain is coming from before he takes any actions. He has also been trying different drugs to see what is going to work the best. I am as happy as I can be with Dr. Eidman. Thomas Shepherd

Most compassionate doctor, really cares about his patients. Spent a lot of time listening and understanding my my problems. Feel so meuch better after my spinal procedure! Would recommend to my family and friends.

My husband made an appointment for this doctor for 11:45 AM and we were told to arrive 15 min early to fill out paperwork which we did. We waited for 3 hours and 45 min and never saw the doctor. The girl working at the front desk in the office told us that this doctor routinely runs 4-6 hours behind. The waiting room smells and the chairs are dirty and torn, there is no tv, no coffe, no water. The girl then told us that normally when someone is referred to this doctor "the person will tell them about the doctor's long wait times."

I was first seen in 1998. I had hurt my back while deer hunting with my husband. I went to Dr. E after seeing 5 other Dr.'s 1st. He was my gift from God. Evyone tried to tell me not to have it fixed but Dr. E. Promised he could fix the problem. I was walking after a week. I walked into his office to have my stitches taken out. Never used a walker or cane. He is the "Most" caring Dr. In the city of Houston. What a gift he is to the public. Thank you, thank you.

My last visit to a surgeon for bone was 1998. To the best doctor in American, Dr. Charles C. Baker, III. He saved my leg and life after a tragic incident in 1973. Dr. Baker has since retired. I have been terrified to have another touch me in fear that a surgery would disable me and leave me crippled. My brother-in-law was in a horrible train accident and expected never walk again. God blessed our family with Dr. Dan Eidman during this critical time. How and why we still do not know and can't understand. Several years have passed. My husband had neck surgery by another surgeon and still having problems went to see Dr. Dan Eidman. He recently had surgery with Dr. Eidman and almost died from complications. Dr. Eidman's hands and heart are blessed from up above. My husband is walking and talking 4 weeks later. I also have been seeing Dr. Eidman. I have never trusted another bone surgeon since Dr. Baker. I would trust my life with Dr. Eidman. He is the most compassionate doctor… I have ever met. He loves his work as a surgeon and believes in YOU. He wants to make YOU have quality of life. He makes you feel like You are the only person in his world when your in his office. I am sure he sees hundreds. Our family would wait hours to see him and have on some occassions. If you love your family members or yourself and want quality of life and are suffering from pain, you must meet this man. He is doing his calling. He does save lives. He does everything in his power to make you feel better. He is truely what all doctors go to school to be, but lose it some where along the path. He is an amazing doctor and person. If you ever get to have him treat you for pain or surgery of anykind you will be in God's hand through his work. I wish all doctors carried his demeanor and passion to be exceptional at their profession. We are blessed to have our paths cross and have him care and treat five members of our family. If you are looking for a doctor for this type of procedure, look no more. I do not want to share and wished our family could afford to pay to have him retire and treat just us. However, that is not fare. So we must share. I am writing this because I have no way to thank him personally for all the joy he has brought to our family. Thank you to his staff. They are amazing as well.

Dr Eidman corrected a back issue caused by a motorcycle accident compounded by a birth defect which left me partially disabled since college. He performed surgery in 1983 which utterly changed my life and permitted full mobility. Excellent, experienced, and talented surgeon.
