Dr. Dan S Landmann, MD

I tried posting 2 reviews on google but dr. Landmann must pay for bad reviews to not be posted. He tried to make me pay an insane amount to have surgery to alter my eye muscle, which in turn would make me look like I have thyroid eye disease. He does not care what you will look like, he just cares about money and tells 99% of his patients they have ptosis to charge them for an extra procedure.

I had eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) done by Dr. Landmann two months ago. It had taken me two years to work up the courage to have the procedure. I was terrified of looking different afterwards. Dr. Landmann listened carefully and thoughtfully to my concerns and honored my wishes completely. Now, my peripheral vision has improved and I don’t look tired all the time, but my eyes still look like my eyes. The office staff is very professional and efficient.

Dr. Landmann became my doctor after my previous physician moved across country. I have now been his patient for 4 years. I was hesitant to change to his different techniques due to a delicate condition of eye and facial tremors. His treatment has proven to be superior, I have had excellent results and I trust him completely.

Amazing doctor. Spent a lot of time explaining the procedure and answering my questions. Highly Recommend!

This is how my vacation aboard a cruise ship was saved by Dr. Dan Landman. It started about a week or so earlier on Thursday. I had a bad sty in my eye. I already had an appointment scheduled with my family doctor for routine bloodwork on Monday, so I figured I would let him look at it. My cruise was on the following Saturday. My Family Dr. said normally they would lance it and prescribe antibiotics. Mine was not showing any kind of head to lance. I got antibiotics and continued to treat with warm compresses. By Thursday it was so huge it was blocking my vision. I went to see Eye Dr. Aversa. He took one look at it and said he could not help me because it was on the inside of my eyelid. I explained my situation to him (that I was leaving for California the next morning to go on a cruise) He was amazingly kind and compassionate. He told me I needed to see an eye surgeon and called a colleague who happened to be Dr. Dan Landman. Dr. Aversa explained my situation to Him and He fit… me in that afternoon. Dr. Landman and his staff were also very kind and compassionate. They made me feel comfortable. They let me pick the music while being operated on. I have never had such a good time having an unpleasant procedure done. We actually laughed and had fun. Dr. Landman has a great sense of humor. I was completely confident in his abilities. He explained everything to me before operating and while he was working on me. This is something I seldom see today. People who treat you like a human being. Thank you Dr. Landman I cannot thank you enough for your help in a time of need. PS My wife sprained her ankle that same day and spent the week on crutches! But we still made it! That was one hard fought vacation.

Dr. Landmann was dismissive and condescending, failed to even feign interest in my case, and wasted my time and travel. Do not even consider.

Dr. Landmann is exceptional. My daughter suffered with conjunctivitis almost continuously for years. We had no idea what was causing the pink eye. Our local Optometrist, deduced that the small growth on her eyelid was a molluscum and referred us to Dr. Landmann. He performed a quick surgical procedure on her eyelid at the surgical center in his office building. The staff at the center were calming, intelligent and kind. Since the surgery, the conjunctivitis had completely disappeared, the dryness under her eye has vanished and her eye looks beautiful. We thank Dr. Landmann, he is a fantastic surgeon, his humor is appreciated, and his bed side manner is top rate

They don’t call him the stye guy for no reason. After trying at home treatment that he recommended I ended up getting my styes surgically removed at his office. Let’s just say my eye is as good as new with no scarring whatsoever! Highly recommend Dr. Landmann and his staff. They are all warm, kind hearted, professionals that love their job.

Dr. Landmann is very personable, extremely knowledgeable, thoroughly explains everything in a manner that is easy to understand. He welcomes and encourages questions and makes it very easy to contact him for any reason. My experience with him as a surgeon was superb. His bedside manner was excellent and the surgery was beyond successful. I had very little bruising, minimal swelling and minimal discomfort afterwards, I couldn't even tell where he had put stitches and his follow up was excellent. So glad he was my surgeon. One last comment, before i went into surgery the hospital staff and nurses raved about him as a surgeon which gave me a lot of confidence.

"Dr. Dan", as I like to call him is great. He listened to me, he answered all my questions and most importantly did an amazing job on my eyelids. I couldn't be happier. I saw him in Stamford though, i'm not sure what the boston address is.
