Dr. Dan Walker Peters, MD

Dr. Peters has an excellent bedside manner. He was very thorough and patient with my sick 11 year old.

So many of my friends tell me about how their physicians "helicopter" in and out for a total of maybe 5 min, but Dr Peters really takes the time to know you - not just the present issue but also the context of who you are. He takes ample time to talk with you, is concerned but not judgmental - he provides the info you need to make your own decisions, and respects you as a true partner in developing your own health decisions. This approach allows me to think rationally, as opposed to reaction ally, to his recommendations. In sum, he is probably the best general physician I've had in my 60+ years. I wish all doctors had his ability to connect w/ his patients and thus get to what really needs to be addressed. In sum, awesome professionally! Can we clone him?!!!!

Dr. Peters is an outstanding doctor! He listens to you instead of talking. I use to see him before I switched to CHP (he is not part of CHP) BUT if he ever moves to CHP, I will choose him as my PCP again!

Dr. Peters is kind and understanding, but also very fair. If he thinks you're not doing what you should to maintain health, he's not afraid to tell you. He's always open to new options if the tried and true ones fail to work, and he's a breeze to talk to. I appreciate everything he's done - he really cares about his patients' health.
