Dr. Dan Ron Tzuang, MD

Dr. Tzuang is available for us at all times. He responds quickly and is thorough. Our daughter’s illness is not a “textbook” case, yet Dr. Tzuang was able to help her thrive. We are so grateful!

Dr. Dan is not only a highly trained, experienced and well educated doctor but he is also caring, calm, responsive and a good listener. After seeing multiple doctors and other professionals over several months, finding Dr. Dan has been our family’s saving grace. He was the only one able to figure out exactly what would help our young son by putting him on a combination of medication which has allowed our son to get back to participating in activities that he loves. Throughout the process, Dr. Dan has always been extremely responsive via email, and quick to get back to us, even on weekends and at night. Knowing he will respond so quickly to concerns gives us extra comfort and peace of mind - and it is very rare to find a doctor who is this accessible and who will respond directly and quickly. We are so thankful for this outstanding doctor.

Dr. Dan has been a godsend for my son. We first saw Dan three years ago when my son was 16. My son was battling drug use, depression and anxiety and was headed down a very bad path. We feared that he would not graduate high school, that he could end up in jail or even take his own life. As parents we felt helpless. Dan was very patient and was able to find was to relate to my son. This built the needed trust for my son to let down his guard and be open to getting help. Dan found the right treatment plan that progressively helped my son get better. Fast forward three years and my son is no longer depressed, he has his anxiety under control and is drug free. He graduated high school and is a productive member of society. I highly recommend Dan Tzuang!

Dr. Tzuang has been treating my daughter for ADHD. He is extremely through and personable. My daughter is very comfortable with him and he gives personal attention. In a day and age when doctors are so hard to reach, he is accessible and responsive. When you are treating your child for ADHD being able to access your doctor is critical. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Tzuang correctly diagnosed my daughter with bipolar disorder on the second visit after she was treated unsuccessfully for over 20 years for anxiety and depression. With the right medication, she has her life back. He spends time with his patients, not just handing them a prescription. Dr. Tzuang is an amazing support to the family as well. He is very responsive to any and all needs.

Dr. Tzuang is an expert in his field. As a patient of his, my ADHD and anxiety have properly been treated, thus increasing my quality of life significantly. I would recommend Dr. Tzuang to any of my friends and family seeking support. He really listens and cares. I believe he is the best psychiatrist in Orange County, having experience with others. I am grateful to have him as my doctor.

We went to Dr. Dan Tzuang at the recommendation of our son’s Pediatrician. He diagnosed our son with ADHD and prescribed medication. He was extremely easy to talk to and my husband, my son and myself were very comfortable with him. He’s calm, thoughtful and supportive. One thing I really like is that I can email him directly with my questions and he always responds really quickly. His office is also located in a very convenient location and there’s plenty of parking. I highly recommend him.

My young teen son has been seeing Dr. Dan for several years for medication management for Anxiety disorder and ADHD. Dr. Dan has been a great resource to us. He's a doctor who possesses both an approachable personality and an in-depth knowledge of current medicine. Dr. Dan has worked with us through a TON of medication trials because my son seems to be unlucky enough to have adverse & allergic reactions to quite a few. Dr. Dan is very calm and easy to work with- his office is modern and he's a regular, straight-forward guy. I appreciate that Dr. Dan can relate to people from various age ranges- he did a great job working with my son when he was an elementary schooler, and yet has been able to adjust his approach as my kid grew up. Another positive thing about this practice is that Dr. Dan is very easy to get in touch with via email, and almost always responds super-quickly. Bonus points: Dr. Dan knows how insurance companies work, and his super bills are always perfect. He's… the only mental health professional we've used that we did not have to ask for some kind of correction or additional information for insurance.
