Dr. Dana Huyen My Dinh, MD

I don't understand why others have left poor reviews. Yes, the front staff are not overly friendly but, they are polite, kind, and knowelable. I have been a patient of Dr. Dinh's for more than 8 years. She is fantastic, she sits down at the table with me and really listens to what I have to say. She values my opinions. I have seen others in her office I absolutely do not like, a P.A., and a Nurse Practitioner but when I told Dr. Dinh about my experiences she said, ok just see me. I will continue to seeing her for my Primary Care needs.

Dr. Dinh is friendly and if you’re Vietnamese this is a good place for easy communication. I am viet but not very fluent so it can be difficult to speak with the nurse practitioner. She is nice but with my lack of viet medical terminology, I can’t say I have an easy time understanding. The reason I give 2 stars is because the staff seems conservative and uncomfortable when talking about birth control. My reason for birth control to protect myself against unwanted pregnancy which is free with my insurance. However, the office told my insurance it was for acne. That caused me to get a huge bill due to it being a “cosmetic” need instead of a health one. Luckily I cleared it up with blue cross and blue shield. They even connected my phone line to the office for a direct explanation of the mistake and an apology. I got neither and front desk person rudely asked if we were finished. It was a stressful situation as I’m a college student and due to this mistake, I avoided visiting doctors… offices for a year. I have been looking for another office who will take sex health seriously and professionally.

Been going to Dana Dinh for awhile now, she is a very good doctor, now as for the girls that work at the front desk, thats another story. They always seem to have attitudes, and not friendly at all. I give Dana Dinh a big thumbs up ... as for the front desk staff they need to learn to be more professional and courtesy to the patients, we are the reason you have a JOB !!!!!!!

You takes her time, listen to your concerns and willing to help you feel and look better with out any judgement. The staff she has are great people and very understanding about you needs. Very Professional people :) :)

I had a MRI done on my back because I had fallen. I had to keep calling for the results and then she wanted to see me, and find out I needed to be referred to a spine specialist. I have questioned this as a lost follow up.

Dr Dinh is very thorough. She spent time with me and not like my previous doctor. I considered Dr Dinh my best medical visit so far.
