Dr. Dana Leann Garrett, MD

I'm looking at a few of these reviews and I am shocked. I am 57 years old and have been looking for that doctor that I can connect with and until now, I was having a hard time. The first time I went to Dr. Garrett I knew she was the doctor for me. I have never waited long to see her, she takes her time with you, and is very, VERY thorough. She makes sure that you are up-to-date on any tests that you may need, and takes the time to talk with you. I am comfortable knowing that she is looking after my well-being.

Love going to Dr Garrett...Have been seeing her for about 20 years now and dread the day that she retires...

I looked through the reviews and there are several negative ones on here. Let me say from personal experience with Dr. Garrett BEFORE she got her own office and after. She used to be in with several doctors and I dreaded getting her if I had to go. It even got to the point that if she was the on call doctor, I would not go. I ended up leaving that office and went to another doctor. Then my daughter told me ( and mind you she felt the same way I did about her) that she had gotten her own office in town and was totally different. I decided to try her again and I am so glad I did. She took time to listen to what I had to say and did not make me feel like I was wasting her time. Turns out she was very unhappy with the other office and they way they were expected to move patients through as quickly as possible. You can tell she loves her job again and really wants to help her patients. If you read an older post or if you were one of her patients elsewhere, I recommend you try her again.… When someone loves their job it shows!

I enjoy having Dr. Garrett as my MD. She has her owns office and does not make you feel like you are a number being rushed through. Dr. Garrett takes time to listen and even socialize with you. I have found her to be very knowledgeable, understanding, compassionate, and genuine. Highly recommend her.

Very rude. Do not like her at all. I took my child to see her when he was a baby once and she was so rude. I've seen her before right after and it was my last time.

She is ready to give a prescription, but not ready to take all of your symptoms to figure out what is wrong with you. She does not have a good bed side manner.

Dr. Garrett is charismatic, always giving cordial and positive advise. She is easy to reach at any time and provides all the attention needed to her patients.

A PA runs her practice, she is hardly ever in the clinic.

My family has been seeing Dr. Garrett for several years. I have always found her to be considerate, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She always answers any questions I have, and is open to discuss my problems with me when I'm prepared to discuss them with her. I love her new office --- it's great to know that I can see her, or her PA Phillip, --- my choice if I don't mind waiting --- without having to see whomever the "walk-in doctor" is for that day. The staff is open to talk to me, and they are professional, caring and friendly.I would also like to address others' comments about the PA Phillip. The sign on the door says "PA", his scrub top says "PA", and he introduced himself as "Phillip, the PA." To many people, he is their "doctor," even though he is a PA (and never portrayed himself as a doctor). I'm no "brain surgeon," but I am smart enough to know that PAs are trained in medical schools with doctors, and practice and perform most of the acts of MDs. I also know that Dr.… Garrett is there should he need help or advice on a patient. I willingly and gladly would send my family members and friends to see Dr. Garrett and PA Phillip.

This office is wonderful. I cant say enough good things about this physician and the staff. They are very pleasant and professional. EVerytime I have called my questions or issues have been resolved quickly and efficiently. I recommend them to everyone!
