Because I’m in pain sometimes and uncomfortable from arthritis and auto immune diseases, she says it’s not normal to be anxious and depressed, see a psychiatrist. Please understand that chronic issues create these undesired side effects. I already see a psychiatrist and he says Dr. Jacobs is avoiding proper patient care and responsibilities. Doctors like this make patients worse.

I have been seeing her for a year. Just found that she had not looked at “any”of my test results yet she is telling me that the only person who can help my chronic pain is a psychiatrist? Upon calling psychiatrist(s), they refuse to see me as chronic pain is not a diagnosis they will address?

After knowing me all of 2-3 minutes Dr Jacobs made a suggestion that I seek therapy and go on an SSRI for anxiety that she believes is causing a mild sleep issue. I was not even complaining about my sleep habits, It was my first and last appointment with her.

Misdiagnosis. Dangerous!
