The scale of 1 to 5 is inappropriate to rate Dr. McDermott's performance. It should be at least 1 to 30, and 30 ( and then some!) would be my rating! Dr. McDermott is absolutely fantastic in all respects! And very kind-hearted and very modest human being! My deepest gratitude not only to her, but also to her parents who produced and raised such a wonderful Lady and Doctor!

Doctor MacDermott very thorough understanding knowledgeable and took time to let me know by test were my problems aldo where I was doing very well also recommended to see Dr about my back problem. My visit was very helpful.

Dr. McDermott read my medical data and reports before I came in! She was so well prepared for my 1st visit that I was super impressed and touched. Not many doctors I had make this type of preparations nowadays, though it is necessary. There was a calming and comforting feeling when talking to Dr. McDermott, because she listened attentively, asked questions softly, shared her knowledge generously, and focused on root causes. She also proactively addressed the autoimmune issues that I have been searching for answers for quite a few years, but no doctors were willing to look into it. Her exam/test on me was so thorough, yet pleasant, because her caring and patient manner really put me at ease. I have been seeing a lot of neurologists and specialists, including top-notch ones from Stanford Hospital. Dr. Mcdermott is literally the BEST neurologist!! In fact, the best doctor and an amazing human!! I am so grateful to be her patient.

Dr. McDermott is amazing! Every visit I have with her she is patient, empathetic, extremely knowledgable, and thorough. I always feel completely taken care of. She goes above and beyond! I consider her the mnumber 1 physician I have ever experienced.

Dr. Dana McDermott is, without a doubt, the most amazing Neurologist/ human, I have EVER had the PRIVILEGE of meeting and then being followed by as a patient! This very sensitive, Empathic KNOWLEDGEABLE “ young woman “, has the unique qualities which enable her to REALLY delve into areas that often times other Physicians allow to elude them . Her tenacious curiosity is so REFRESHING, in these times Of such a reliance on ACADEMIC INFORMATION, rather than making her immediate PRIORITY, to thoroughly understanding that “ everything” in our bodies, is indeed, CONNECTED. Dr. McDermott is ONE IN A MILLION; I feel so honored and proud to have Dr. McDermott as my Neurologist. My faith and trust in her BRILLIANT PEREGRINATION in my life, has given me the HOPE and ability to continue my life with knowing that Dr. McDermott, is on my team ( of one) . Together, Dr. McDermott and I are going to figure out the complicated nature of my medical complexities, which have plagued my health.

Dr McDermott is "incredibly" knowledgable regarding my specific medical issue (NF2) and works closely with neurosurgeon. That is VERY important to me!
