As an ovarian cancer survivor and patient who deals with endometriosis and breast issues, I've been to a ton of gynecologists and women's health specialists. Dr. Owens is the first and only doctor to offer excellent counseling, understanding, medical care and advice in my continuing course of healing. I highly recommend Dr. Owens!

This shady lady is a hospitalist at FH Orlando. I have endometriosis stage 4, I may very well lose my ability to have kids. She & the staff will pick & choose which patients to see. If your discharge paperwork says she needs to see you within 1-2 days, dont hold your breathe. The receptionist says “the ER writes that on all discharge summaries that doesn’t mean anything” understanding she doesn’t do follow up long term is ok, she is required to see you post ER at least one visit, not determine over the phone in 5 minutes she can’t see you. I was refused an appointment within the time needed, I was told to wait almost 2.5 weeks because it’s not an emergency or urgent situation, she hasn’t seen me or my issue. Steer clear of this woman and report her, maybe then she will learn.

Staff was very rude, unable to set up appointment. Still waiting for call back 24+ later.

Dr. Owens saw me after I moved to the area, having had an irregular pap smear several months before. The previous doctor had given me the course of treatment, and so I passed that on to Dr. Owens. She let me know kindly that this was the older way of doing it, and informed me how she intended to move forward with my treatment, which was a much more measured response. Her education, compassion, and capability make me feel without a doubt that she is the best gynecologist I have ever had.

Dr. Owens is very caring and informative. The staff is personable and friendly. My visit exceeded my expectations.
