Dr smith did a septorhinoplasty on me last year and even recommended a free hump removal and said it was an easy quick procedure and I did not question him at all. When I had the surgery a month later a deformity happened called an open roof deformity which Dr Smith did not even tell me at my emergency appt. I ended up finding this diagnosis from two different doctor confirming I have an open roof deformity and lost all trust with dr Smith when he said nothing was wrong with my nose. I now have to get my nose fixed and will Be a very costly surgery. Dr smith cannot do cosmetic surgery and should have never offered me a free hump Removal when he does not even know how to do it at all. I went in for a medical concern of a deviated septum n walked out with a botched nose job. Absolutely would never recommend. Also Kaiser did not help me at all in my grievance process and now I’m stuck with having to fix this botched job entirely. So very upsetting.

I requested reinsertion of ear tubes after the initial ones fell out after 2-1/2 years, because my hearing had deteriorated again. This was denied. There wasn't a good reason. Tubes had worked before, and would have worked again. Now my hearing has deteriorated back to the level it was when tubes were first inserted 5 years ago, meaning the hearing in my right ear is severely lower than the left.
