Dana Weinkle has been my ophthalmologist for the last 20 plus years. As I have gotten older, like many of us, my vision has deteriorated. I recently had surgery to treat the cataracts in both eyes. What a difference! My vision has been corrected and I no longer need glasses. Dr Weinkle was meticulous and went through multiple measurements to make sure that I got the best results. The procedures could not have gone any better. I could not believe how easy it all went. His staff in his office and his teams at his surgery centers could not have been more courteous, caring and efficient. If you are looking for an ophthalmologist, I highly recommend Dr Weinkle and his team at the Palm Coast eye center.

This man is one of the least empathetic, most unreasonable doctors I have ever had the displeasure of working with. My aunt had a bottle of her prescribed antibiotics taken by TSA and when I called and politely asked if he could refill the prescription to account for the lost bottle, he berated me endlessly. I gave up and simply asked for him to send her medical records over so we could visit another doctor and he continued to scream at me for absolutely no reason while providing zero solutions. My aunt is now without medication she needs, that was prescribed to her, because this grown man refused to manage his own emotions and do right by his patients. I can’t imagine why anyone would trust this man with managing their health if he can’t even manage to have an ounce of compassion for people under his care.

Dr. Weinkle is the kind of doctor you want in all your doctors - he's really good at what he does, and he really cares about his patients! It shows from the moment the office staff greets you by your name when you arrive at his office. I had both cataracts done and Dr. W and his office staff made it a seamless and painless process. The staff at the surgical center were just as courteous and responsive, and made me feel like family. Overall, I'm amazed at how easy this whole process was. Each procedure (one for each eye) was painless and the results are UNBELIEVABLE! I had the opportunity to have the procedure done by one of the big practices with offices all over the state, but I'm so glad I chose to go with Dr. Weinkle - he has my highest recommendation - you won't be disappointed!

I have been a patient of Dr. Weinkle since I arrived in Sarasota many years ago. My earliest childhood memories involve constant trips to the eye doctor and corrective surgery (unsuccessful twice). Dr. Weinkle has taken very good care of my eyes and I just walked out of his office and I can donate my prescription sunglasses and regular glasses! Me, of all people, not having to wear glasses?? I was a very complex case: severe astigmatism and three failed RK surgeries many years ago. Dr. Weinkle, with his skill and caring, gave me what I have never had! Seeing is Believing Better than banished, our cataracts are now gone forever, halleluiah! Now the rainbows have so many more colors, everything has great clarity and brilliance, all while near and far are in focus! I no longer need glasses to read distant road signs, my sweetheart’s eyes radiantly sparkle even more blue, and I can see birds and alligators with distinct clarity when out walking. Dr. Weinkle came recommended by a friend and he certainly lived up to his reputation. His office staff is superb, his explanations on my options were concise and the outcome was just as he had explained--a true professional.

I have been a patient of Dr. Weinkle's for many years. Although my cataracts were not terrible, combined with much astigmatism, my daily life was being affected by vision which was marginal at best, even with my glasses. Dr. Weinkle recommended lens replacement surgery in both eyes with panoptic toric lenses. I was very nervous about the surgery.
