Dr. Dane D Copeland

Easy to understand and not rushed at all

Dr. Copeland and his staff are awesome. I met Dr. Copeland while in the hospital. My first time in the hospital, so granted I was nervous, confused and scarred. After two weeks they were unable to diagnose my condition. Then Dr. Copeland was called in. He spent extra time with me and allowed me to have my speaker phone on so my family would hear everything he was telling me. This assured me that they understood and could ask questions I was unable to think of. I continue to seer Dr. Copeland even though he does not take my insurance. Best money spent.

Dr. Copeland review my health problems, and my daily activities. He wrote down everything and gave me a change in my meds. This change has help me alot. Im very grateful.

Dr. Copeland seems very knowledgable. He is very matter of fact and doesn't joke around at all (which I wish he did... I feel like he needs to loosen up a bit). He doesn't like for a patient to ask him questions or not take his word for law, it seems to me. When I asked him if not this then what, he brushed it off and said he didn't want to talk about any of it prior to getting tests done and an accurate diagnosis. While I can respect that, I am more of the "I need to know what is going on with me and what I can (may need to) look forward to." Bedside manner is ok. He kind of kept looking at me like he wanted to say something, but he never really did. Basically he did his evaluation and ordered some tests. I ha to call his office and for him to call me back and give me info on my tests, then acted bothered to have had to call me. I guess at least he called me.... Overall, an average physician, in my humble opinion.

This doctor had taken care of me since I was a minor till this very day (age 21) going on 22 soon. I had epilepsy that was out of control until we met this doctor. Because of him I've been able to enjoy life as a normal person would since he has made me well and taken care of me. I'm very thankful, thanks to him I'm cured of my medical condition.
