Dr. Daniel Maurice Aghion, MD

I have recently become a patient of Dr. Daniel Maurice Aghion. I have been immensely impressed, in all respects. I have had two telehealth appointments and one in person examination during this COVID19 period. Making my appointments was smooth and easy. His office staff has been both accessible and responsive on the phone. Additionally, when I went to the office they were extremely courteous and efficient. Dr. Aghion himself was exceptional. He has been exceedingly generous with his patience and time. He listened attentively to all of my concerns and answered each of my questions with great care and in terms that I could understand well. When I met with him in person, he spent a generous amount of time with me, exceeding any expectations I might have had. He gave me a thorough examination and thoroughly explained things with actual models of the spine. He was sensitive to my concerns about the possibility of venturing into surgery and respectfully acknowledged all of my hesitations. He… neither pressured nor discouraged me, giving me a realistic view of all possibilities and taking into consideration all aspects of my situation. I feel quite assured that whatever decision I make in the future, Dr. Aghion will have guided me skillfully and compassionately. I could not have been more comfortable, confident and pleased with Dr. Aghion and would recommend him highly as an exemplary, caring physician.

Highly recommend. Thorough office visit. Actually listened to me! Showed me the actual MRI and explained my entire back to me and what treatments would work best for me and why surgery would not be wise. Excellent bedside manner. I am very confident that his recommendations are what is best for me.

Dr Aghion is very experienced and knowledgeable with a terrific bedside manner. His experience is impeccable and will give you back the life you need when he fixes your problem. Makes you feel at ease and always there for you when you need to talk to him. He also has a great and caring staff. I am so happy that he was sent to me when I needed a Neurosurgeon!

Dr. Aghion is an amazing doctor. I recently had emergency Lumbar Micro Discectomy surgery and I could not have asked for a more caring and kind doctor. The world needs more doctors like Dr. Aghion. My surgery went exactly as expected and I'm recovery beautifully. I so appreciate Dr. Aghion and I highly recommend him to anyone needing neurosurgery.
