Dr. Daniel Ahoubim, MD

I was told I had to come to the office in person, even though I was sick. I said if you insist, but it will he hard. I had to drive 3.5 hours to get to the appointment with severe neurofibromas flaring up - an agonizing drive. But I did it. Then they made me wait 45 minutes in the office. Then Liz, the office manager told me they couldn't see me, a week after i'd been sick. I said I'm in complete pain, I at least need a phone call to get pain medication until I can see the doctor. The doctor did not call. Liz placated me, knowing full well they were not going to help me. Terrible terrible office management. I have no idea why they treated me so horribly.

My son and I have been patients of Dr. Ahoubim over in his 6 maiden lane, New York, NY, location for about a year and a half. He is extremely meticulous in exploring all the possibilities when considering his diagnosis and treatment. This makes him extremely thorough. He is extremely courteous and considerate. You can not ask for a better Doctor. Now Jocelyn his receptionist is a sweetheart and also pleasant and accomodating. The only drawback to his Manhattan office was the location making the commute from Brooklyn very difficult and there is no parking. We miss Dr. Ahoubim and wish he would return to NYC but perhaps he could set up an office in Brooklyn, NY.

My son has been going to Dr Ahoubim since Jan.2020, since then we JUST found out he has severe back issues due to a really bad seizure and left him almost in a parallelized state. After multiple emails to his staff and multiple voicemails, they never ONCE responded with any answers. My son had to endure pain and suffering for 5 months unnecessarily. The Dr. told us to go to UCLA so that my son can take part in brain mapping to evaluate his seizures. The staff has not done one thing to help facilitate this and I could not without any of his records. I feel as though the staff is uneducated in anything of the medical field and they have very poor grammar and communication skills, which is an embarrassment to the Dr. and his practice. I WILL be taking this as high as I can with hopefully a senior staff manager before obtaining an attorney.

Not the greatest doctor and 0 however his office staff are highly incompetent, rude, utmost unprofessional. Joselyn lacks in simple writing skills. (I had asked for a medical note for Jury duty!) And Tamara is the worse "office manager" taking in quick defense. This is not high school ladies! It's a medical office. Or is it? Mind blowing fees charged to my insurance company, plus co pay etc. Worse experience ever. This office team needs serious help. DOCTOR, if you want to save your career, you should rid your catty staff and hire educated professional who have ettiquette in speaking, writing, relaying information, messages and the like! Very unprofessional, also they never answer their phone. Number on card all wrong. They do not even buzz one in, when ringing the buzzer. Dodgey, fishy. Peculiar from start to finish! Doctor is professional but his awful team makes him look awful himself. Please stay away. Save your self the headache and find a decent neurologist that has a… professional respectful staff. Have a look at Zoc Doc , some horrid views mainly about the office staff needing some serious over haul.
