We wouldn't go anywhere else. My husband and I love Dr. Bahnmiller and his staff.

This office refuses to see you before 8 wks of pregnancy even if you are having serious medical issues and a history of recurrent miscarriage. This is completely unacceptable!

Dr. Bahnmiller has been incredibly kind and supportive throughout my entire pregnancy! His staff has always been kind and professional and he maintains a very nice office. Dr. Bahnmiller has been available to me twice outside of office hours due to questions/concerns that I had. He even showed up to the hospital to check on me by 6:00 am following a night in the hospital. He has always been so patient and attentive to my needs! I trust him with my care and trust him to deliver my baby in just a couple of weeks!

My surgery went very well. Dr. Bahnmiller and his staff took very good care of me. Don't find this kind of personal quality care anywhere else.

I had a great surgery experience with Dr. Bahnmiller and his staff. Never had surgery in my life and I came in scared to be honest. Dr. Bahnmiller and his staff put me at ease with their level of knowledge and I felt they empathized with me. I recommend this office to my family and friens.

Dr. Bahnmiller is a good doctor. He is caring, calm, and nice. When you ask him questions about your pregnancy/health conditions, he doesn't give you a very detailed explanation, which can leave you confused and a little disappointed. He seems very busy (he's the only doctor in his practice). His nurses are mediocre. Definitely not the best or most knowledgeable. When you call with a question for the nurse/doctor regarding your pregnancy, the office staff barely lets you finish talking, as if they are too busy to take your call. You should be able to feel at ease and comfortable calling with questions/concerns. I definitely did NOT feel comfortable talking to the office staff or nurses. The nurses are young and don't seem very knowledgeable. They don't always call you back within a reasonable amount of time and when you do talk to them, they aren't very helpful with answering your questions/concerns. Overall, I'm dissapointed with this place (Columbia Shores OB/GYN). It is… important to see a doctor with a helpful, knowledgeable, caring, polite staff and that is not how this place is! Do your research when choosing the right ob/gyn. You will be calling the office a lot with questions during your pregnancy, and need the peace of mind of knowing you will be treated well and taken care of.

I would have to agree with a lot of the comments. The staff in the office is the worst I have ever seen. I have waited more than 1.5 hours on more than 3 occasions- and 2 hours on my last appointment! The receptionist- Beth- said on more than one occasion that she "forgot" to put my appointment on the calendar- and I had to show her my appointment cards with her handwriting to prove that I did have an appointment! Messages do not make it to the Dr. most of the time. Their billing department is a mess- but they constantly want your money.

Dr. Bahnmiller is an excellent, knowledgeable doctor. The wait is fairly long, and sometimes you feel rushed, and he doesn't always spend much time with you, depending on the appointment. He has a calm personality that puts you at ease. He doesn't talk fast or use a lot of medical terminology, being very personable. I would definitely continue to see him. As for his office staff, they are nice enough, but I agree with other ratings/reviews that they could be more professional. They seem a little gossipy. His nurses are very sweet, though.

I think that Dr. Bahnmiller is a fairly knowledgable, and good Doctor, and surgeon. I also think he is a rude person. I sat in his office for almost 2 hours ( more than once), and the guy din`t even have the decency to say, "I`m sorry about the wait." And, the second or third time this happened I wasn`t even seen because he has to leave. His office staff (particularly Stacey and Dianna) sit around, and gossip, and make fun of others like a couple of high school mentality girls. "Oh she`s wierd. her hair looks terrible that color." And on and on. They also make judgement calls about your preg. that only the Dr. should be making.And don`t always give him messages if they don`t consider it to be important." Well, we`re busy today so we`ll see." That`s what Dianna said to me! They are waaay out of line. So Dr. Bahnmiller would you want to sit, and wait in someone`s office for hours? And rather than hiring only cute girls to work for you (it seems calculated) I would suggest hiring smart,… mature, and professional women who handle themselves as such.Also, don`t schedule more patients than you can handle because you seem stressed out. Your nurse Crystal is very nice, and professional. Hope this helps

Dr. Bahnmiller and his staff are amazing. I had a previous miscarriage and Dr. Bahnmiller eased my worry through my second pregnancy by addressing all the questions and worries I had. He went above and beyond to assure that I knew my pregnancy was going great. I couldnt have asked for a better birthing experience as well. He was calm and talked me through the whole process. My daughter was born healthy and beautiful in a calm environment. I refer all my friends who are looking for an OB/GYN to see him. I will be back to see him for my next pregnancy. He's amazing.
