Daniel O. Bankhead, DDS
Dr. Bankhead was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. and graduated from Catholic High School. After high school, he attended Louisiana State University and then went on to Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (LSUSD), where he was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for dental excellence as well as many other awards. After graduation, Dr. Bankhead joined the practice of Dr. Donald Perrere in 1990. In 1993, Dr. Bankhead took over the practice, started in 1965, and relocated to Highland Rd.
Dr. Bankhead has three children, William, Elizabeth, and Katherine. An active father, Dr. Bankhead coaches William in track and field, loves to bring his girls horseback riding on their two horses, and enjoys supporting his children in all of their activities.
Dr. Bankhead is a gratis faculty member and preceptor for LSUSD.  Â
Dr. Bankhead is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association.
