I Met with Dr. Benkart prior tp surgery & while they were getting me ready, ten he left. I thought he went tp scrub in. The current doctor said, "drape his entire head". I ask if I could watch (being a nurse myself) the nurse said, "I will drape you diagnaly so you can watch the board & there's still a sterile field

Dr. Benckart was the best surgeon I could have asked for during my recent thoraco abdominal aorta aneurysm. His skill and knowledge brought me through a very serious surgery.

I had AAA surgery two yrs ago.completed invasively and prior to this operation Dr. Benckart said that if I had it completed this way, I woudn't have to worry about it for the next 29 yrs.. My PCP ordered me a CAT Scan and referred me to another Vascular Surgeon who said I needed a repair done?? This was one of the worst operations I ever had...but they did it as an out patient at a different hospital...There is a two yr statute of limitations with this surgery which I did not know is about $10,000.00 more if completed invasively..If I had known this, I would have chosen the noninvasive way...I was in intensive care for 4 days after the original operation with 45 staples plus dozens of stitches..The doctors said he did hundreds of these operations and the repair required 3 stents.

Being Dr. Dan's patient is by far, the best decision I made in my lifetime.

It has taken me 9yrs. to find Dr. Benckart. My heart and prayers goes out to God for him and his works. A miricle were performed in 2003", "open heart surgery", was accomplished by him and his staff members on me.
