Summary

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of the many services we provide, and the wonderful colleagues and members that I have an opportunity to work with. I am looking forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography
I am a native of Southern California. I was born in Pomona, grew up in Perris and Riverside and attended college in Santa Barbara and medical school at the University of Southern California. My residency in psychiatry was also local through the Sepulveda Veterans Administration and UCLA. I have a family of my own now with two young daughters. My wife works in the community as a dentist. I love California for many reasons but one of the most important to me is the wonderful mix of cultures and people. In my professional life I wanted to chose a career where I could have a positive impact on people's well being. I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people's lives and practicing psychiatry gives that opportunity.

About my practice
I work at the Sherman Terrace Offices in behavioral health and I serve a unique role at the clinic. I am responsible for seeing urgent cases when someone is often in crisis. I also evaluate patients following their discharge from a psychiatric hospital. In addition, I oversee the Intensive Outpatient Program, which is designed to help patients learn new coping strategies for problems they are facing. I work with a very dedicated staff of nurses, administrators and clerical staff. It is a privilege to help members with the many problems they are facing, explain what they may not understand, help get them the appropriate services, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very privileged that members trust me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive
It is important to find balance in one's life. My work at Kaiser Permanente is very important and it is important to balance my work schedule with activities and interests outside the work environment. I am very family oriented and most activities I do involve my wife and kids. Time goes by so quickly and it is so important for me to enjoy quality family time. I enjoy a variety of activities including running, biking, hiking, weight lifting, yoga and basketball.

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews

Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.

Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
