Daniel Berlin, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College.  He graduated from McGill University in Montreal, Canada with a BSc in Anatomy and Cell Biology and an MSc in Neuroscience (researching the effect of oxidative stress in Alzheimer’s disease under the mentorship of Dr. Hyman Schipper). He then received his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship and neurology residency at Weill Cornell/New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering where he was honored to serve as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology with a focus in Electromyography (EMG) at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School.  He is board certified by the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology.Prior to joining the faculty of Weill Cornell, Dr. Berlin worked in private practice for 15 years where he cared for patients with a wide variety of neurological disorders in both the …outpatient and inpatient setting. He was delighted to return to Weill Cornell/NYP as a general neurologist with a neuromuscular focus.
