Dr. Daniel Simmonds Cannon

I almost feel like the joke is on me. My daughter recently had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by a different oral surgeon and her experience was amazing. I went to Dr Cannon because he was recommended by my general dentist whom I trust. Setting the appointment and getting to the chair was great. But post op was a different story. I was 5 days post op yesterday. I called the office to get a return to work note only to be advised I should have returned to work the next day. I could barely stand to move the day after oral surgery I was is so much pain and both sides of my face looked as if I had an orange in my cheek. I tried to explain to the person on the phone that I had a difficult recovery and I was still experiencing some pain. I was put on hold and upon her return she advised me in a very stern voice we will write your excuse up until today and you need to go to work. All I can say is wow. You would think with all the knowledge and years of experience Dr Cannon and his practice have… they would know that every recovery is different for every individual. They didn’t ask me to come back in to maybe try and figure out why I was still in pain....nothing. They did the procedure they got their payment from me and my insurance so they could care less about how uncomfortable I am sitting right here right now at my desk writing this review taking 800mg of ibuprofen that will not last throughout my work day. Thank God this happened with me and not my 16 yr old who will be getting 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed as soon as the school year ends. Back to the very talented oral surgeon who took care of my 24 yr old daughter. Back to a practice who actually cares before,during, and after they have been compensated.
