Outstanding experience.

I love Dr. Caruso's "bedside manner"!! !He evokes quiet strength and makes you feel important. He is full of knowledge and wisdom as he is a Type 1 diabetic himself, as am I! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an endocrinologist!!!

Although the staff and the Dr. Caruso are very nice and was very efficient when I needed approval on my insulin to be refilled, they refilled the wrong ones when I've told them several times that I hate the pens and I use vials they still had the pharmacy fill pens. My first visit wasn't so bad I was in and out but I didn't have any time with the dr he didn't even really do an exam. I've been to a lot of endocrinologists from moving all the time and never I have went some place where they didn't ask me important questions. He checked my feet said I needed an updated eye exam and he wanted to see me in 3 months. I went up front to make that appointment ans they were booked 6 months out! So my next visit went exactly the same but this time he wanted blood work. I got blood work with out being notified about the cost by the way (probably not the dr and staff's fault even though it's all Renown) and they never called me. I still have no idea what it looked like. I did have a message once… saying that something looked bad and to call them which I did but didn't get to talk to the dr and he still hasn't called back to my call. So after my second appointment I went ahead and made a third to because I'm a three strikes you're out kinda gal and they called me two months before me scheduled appointment to tell me he was going to be out of town! I had to call and reschedule the appointment and I called them three times and couldn't get a hold of them but I told them I needed a early Wednesday time and they called me to leave messages about calling them to reschedule and finally I get a letter saying that this is my new scheduled appointment and it's nothing that I asked for. it's like mid-day on a Friday or something. These people who say he's great clearly hasn't been to a real dr.

I've been with Dr. Caruso and his team for about 15 years. Not only is Dr. Caruso a great doctor, but as a diabetic and "pumper" himself, he walks the walk and talks the talk. And his caring, knowledgeable staff can't be beat. I've recommended them to many of my fellow diabetics.

He is the best Doctor that I have seen for my Diabetes. I live in California. but I will plan to see Dr Cruso.

Dr. Caruso is quite honestly the best doctor I have ever seen. He is caring, objective, thorough and highly intelligent. I wish I still lived in Reno to be under his care, haven't found another like him!

Dr. Caruso is the best endocrinologist in Reno. I have been his patient for 15 years and my diabetes and osteoporosis are is the best control ever.
