Dr. Daniel Wei Chyu, MD

I've had multiple appointments with this doctor, and each time, I've felt rushed and dismissed. Rather than taking the time to understand or investigate my muscular health concerns, he repeatedly minimized them, at one point attributing them simply to a “low pain tolerance.” When I tried to express how these issues are impacting my quality of life, his advice was to lower my expectations for how my body should feel and perform, despite me being in my early 20s and otherwise healthy. This dismissive attitude, combined with a clear lack of empathy and emotional intelligence, made for a frustrating and unhelpful experience. I left each visit feeling unheard and unsupported. I would not recommend this provider to anyone looking for a doctor who listens, investigates thoroughly, and treats their concerns with respect.

Selecting Chyu as my primary care physician was the worst decision of my life. I have a pre-existing condition since I was 19, he never took the time to educate me on what my health risk were as I got older. He also FAILED or CARED to tell me that the lab test results showed that I was at a high risk for a heart attack. Chyu is also not up to date with current health care information. He clearly lacks compassion for his patients and should not be practicing medicine.
