Do not use this "Dr." his staff is totally unprofessional and I am having my insurance company currently review them for possible insurance fraud.

He’s treated my mother for several years for her Trigeminal and was helpful at the beginning. During the past couple of years he’s urged her to have a surgery that would leave half her face numb, a high percentage of vision loss in one eye as well as hearing loss in one ear. She was not ready to lose those things and was also caring for her terminal husband who she lost Dec of 2017. The stress of losing her husband caused the severe pain to increase and become constant. We had read up on the Gamma Knife procedure that has very little risk and is very successful for eliminating pain for several years and she approached Dr. Cobb with the info. He informed her that this procedure is not yet available in Gainesville and sent her to a Neurosurgeon to see what other options were available. After seeing that Dr and returning to Cobb to please help her find a Dr that could do the Gamma Knife because she could no longer function or tolerate the pain he laughed at her. Now she’s sitting in the… room with him unable to speak and has not been able to eat in months other than Ensures pleading with him to stop laughing and his reply was, I told you this was going to happen and you should have had the procedure 2 years ago. There was absolutely no compassion shown to her, 80 years old, as she tries to tell him again that she was unable to have any procedure while caring for her husband of 60 years. He also refused to write her a new script for pain meds and treated her like she was a junky. This is a women that would fight thru the pain until she just couldn’t take it anymore and would take a pain med. that caused her to sleep. We have since found her a Neurosurgeon in Atlanta that will do the procedure that’s safer for her but we will also be locating a new Neurologist in Gainesville.

This doctor is incompetent!

I have been Dr. Cobb's patient for some time and he has always been honest with me about my condition. His treatment plans have helped me. I trust Dr. Cobb to continue to take very good care of me. He genuinely cares.

Great physician! He was my second opinion after I didn't like my first neurologist. He spent more time listening and explaining my problem. The staff was polite and the guy taking my vitals was very nice. Overall, great experience and will definitely go back again!!
