Dr Contreras explained concisely today about how bacteria impacts the body when you have a permanent suprapubic catheter and gave an analogy that made sense in an easy to understand way.

Saw the Doctor at the scheduled appointment time. He asked questions that were pertinent and had helpful information and suggestions. He did not rush the appointment. The appointment went well and I would say Dr. Contreras is an excellent doctor. I would recommend him to others.

Dr Contreras was very thorough in his evaluation and assessment of my health status. He asked great questions and did not rush through our time together. Overall, he is a great doctor.

Dr. Contreras always takes his time to answer all my questions and concerns. While I know he is busy, he never seems rushed when he visits with me and makes sure I don’t leave his office without addressing all my questions.

Dr. Contreras too over my care as another doctor left the practice. He was attentive, confident and had good bedside manner. We were on the same page with my meds. Look forward to working with him

Due to a Highway closure, I was running late and the staff was very courteous. I only had to wait a few minutes to get in, and I was examined and tested. And doctor Daniel walked in he was courteous and listen to me attentively as I tried to explain some of the symptoms that were hard for me to explain. He took time to try to help me understand that I may need a procedure which is necessary, but I am not sure yet whether I want it. There was no pressure on his part, as he just wants me to be thoroughly informed so that I could make a good choice. I truly appreciate that about his practice as my Primary. God bless him!

Always takes his time to explain everything to seniors. Great staff too.

I feel like Dr. Contreras listens and responds to my questions. I feel very comfortable with him.

Neglects patients needing medication, one week after the visit still have no medication RX sent to pharmacy requested. staff neglects to call patients back after leaving messages and state the doctor is not in. How can you see patients when doctor is not in

I find Dr Contreras condescending. He does not educate his patients regarding their condition. When asked a question, the typical answer is "It's not a problem" even though you are told otherwise by other competent health care practices. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day.....ether way He should listen to my concerns and not become hostel. He asked if there were any other questions but you hesitate because you know from the past visits that you are going to get the same obligatory answer. "Long explanation or not a problem". So you don't bother asking any questions. Dr Contreras is a competent doctor but there is more to being a Dr than just being a paper pusher and shaking your hand upon arrival. For instance--- Real concern for his patients. Listening to their concerns and explaining problems or procedures that are foreign to his patients. I'm pretty sure after Dr. Contreras reads this review I will be looking for another health care provider. Thanks, Jackie
