Dr. Daniel Martin Dodard, DO

Dr. Dodard is not a DO. He is an MD.And a superb one.

Dr Dodard is outstanding. He listens well and responds so that you either have a conclusive answer or a plan to get one. His staff is relaxed and very pleasant to deal with. The entrance and single waiting area for all doctors at the new facility on Bloomingdale is a cold, sterile and unwelcoming space with modern, uncomfortable furniture. It did not occur to the designers that people who may be there because they are sick might like some comfort and softness. Instead the facility has nothing at a human scale, is as glaringly lit like a gas station at night. Check in is with a person standing at a tiny, high table who hands you a a numbered buzzer like restaurants use. Complicated instructions follow but turn out to be unnecessary. It’s about as impersonal as possible until you are buzzed and sent into the offices where the always warm staff and always competent Dr Dodard.

Dr. Dodard has been my Dr. for some years now and if you read the reviews here you begin to see a pattern. Easy to talk to and understands well. Easy to talk to, approachable, Comfort in discussion. For me there is a trust issue here on a very important person in my life. I do appreciate him and have no problem discussing my issues. I don't tend to talk to any other person so if that is important to you he should be your Dr. as he is mine . I don't find trust an easy thing and I trust him obviously with my life. For me, I can live my life and leave it to him to extend it as for as long and comfortable as possible. That's his job and he does it well. He's a good healer. I feel good! I love my life and the people I allow to be a part of it. Dr. Dodard belongs in it.

Listens to my concerns and does a great job to solve to issues without over medicating . Given the documentation they need to complete while talking to you, this is quite a task.
