Dr. Daniel Alan Drennan, MD

At my first visit, there was a red flag that I chose to ignore. I shouldn't have. Dr. Drennan was a bragger with an over-inflated sense of himself in contrast to other doctors who he claimed weren't nearly as good as he was. Also, he is a fast talker, hard for someone to follow who has intense pain and is already on medications that make it hard to process information. It was shocking to hear this doctor say "don't you remember...." He is a pain specialist who did not give me medication that relieved my pain and he wouldn't listen to me when I told him so! Instead, he focused on procedures that brought in more money to his practice and those didn't help either. I wasted a few months with him and then realized I had to move on. This man is patronizing to women and he was a terrible listener. His staff heard him as did the surgery staff.

I have been a patient of Dr Drennan for years. Every time I come in his staff is super nice. Dr drennan really seems to care that I’m in so much pain and tries to help me any way he can. Unfortunately the injections don’t work well for me and he doesn’t push me to do more. Right now he is just trying to manage my pain.

Dr. Drennan is absolutely amazing. I have been seeing him for almost 6 years now and I wouldn't see anyone else. He has helped me get my migraines to where I can live with them and still do everything I love to do. I rarely have them anymore and it's all thanks to him. He is a miracle worker.

Doesn't listen...thinks he knows everything when the best information you can get is actually by listening to your patient!

Pompous, more afraid of patients getting addicted to pain medication than listening to them. You'll never get away from pill seekers, heard him gossiping with his staff about patients. Done!

Horrible doctor. He sells you on him and his office on your first visit and then throws everything out the window. He is not interested in pain management - he is interested in doing procedures to make money. It is an assembly line joint. They line all the patients up and run through them very quickly, forgetting to do sedation, forgetting patient comfort, etc. Just get the procedure done as quickly as possible and kick you out just as quickly. They do not follow up to see how you are doing. They really do not care about their patients!

I went in too see him as my previous doctor had left practice. After spending 45 minutes waiting. he repeated 5 time that i had violated patient opiate agreement. I had to argue with him to tell me why. He had two records of me getting Tramadol in other states. Both said 1800Petmeds and they were for my DOGS! But he would not listen. For a pain management doctor he is the MOST UNCOMPASSIONATE, stupid, not communicating, not caring person I have ever met in the medical field!

I was referred to another doctor at this practice that was supposed to be a really good doctor. Instead of seeing them i got stuck seeing doctor Drennan. I was trying to get off of pain medicine but instead he DOUBLED my meds! If your an addict this is a great clinic to go to but if your tryn to get back to work n support a family this place will just set you back and knock you out.

I was a patient of Drennan's for 2 years. I thought he was very good until recently. He did a procedure on me at his prior practice which improved low back pain, but caused severe heel pain the next day. He swore they were unrelated, but when I mentioned it 2 years later at his new practice, he said it was caused by his former partner forcing him to use a very specialized but destructive needle. After that, I decided to try a different doctor. I found a good one, but he left the area due to a family issue. I thought I would give Drennan another try, but his office cancelled my appointment, saying he refuses to see me. We went back and forth a few time because of his handler's poor communication skills. They kept giving bogus reasons. I asked to see another senior doctor there since my case is complex, but they refused. At that point, since they refused to see me, I requested my medical records, but they refused that too. This guy might come across as friendly and… caring, but he has shown his true ethics multiple times now. AVOID! In hindsight, I should have filed a formal grievance for the earlier damage he did and lying about it.

If you want to be poked and pay a fortune for it, this is your doc. He will spend less than 5 minutes with you after his unhappy nurse sees you and will spend months saying you needed pain control injections here and there. He always seems to know exactly where the pain is coming from, until you have several expensive procedures and then he says.. no no, your pain is coming from a diffrent location and we need to inject that part and another series of expensive injections. The staff isn't much to rave about either. Get a second opinion.
