I was referred to Dr. Dugi by a Pediatric Urologist at Doernbecher/OHSU, as they felt he was the best surgeon for what I needed done (total urethroplasty, with skin grafting). Dr. Dugi has been wonderful through both of my surgeries, which required me staying in the hospital. I could always reach him via email or phone with nearly no delay if I had any questions. Dr. Dugi truly cares about his patients, and that is something that I have found in very few urologists. He is very good about checking up after a procedure, and has no problem working with me about appointments, as I was a long ways from OHSU, so he helped to consolidate my appointments. Wonderful surgeon, highly recommended.

In late 2012 I found myself in the unfortunate position of requiring emergency reconstructive urological surgery. This is a huge deal, especially for a male. I was rushed to my local hospital, where they didn't have the expertise to perform this procedure, so I was then transferred to OHSU. I was lucky and blessed that Dr. Dugi was there to perform this emergency reconstruction. Dr. Dugi dropped everything he was doing to perform a long (7 hours), painstaking, meticulous reconstruction of my urological system. He worked closely with the emergency room team at OHSU and had the wherewithal to call in the OHSU plastics team during the reconstructive procedure. The fact that he called-in the plastics team, was crucial, as that decision made the final result look as normal as humanly possible. In fact right now - 6 months after the procedure, I can barely tell that any surgery took place. This is thanks to the meticulous work of Dr. Dugi and his expertise and decision… making. After the surgery I was hospitalized at OHSU for a few weeks and Dr. Dugi was readily available, making trips to my bedside to chat and make sure everything was going well. There was a time during my hospitalization when Dr. Dugi was out of town for a short time and he called me on the bedside phone to check-in with me, answer any questions I had and ease my mind regarding any post-surgery concerns. While he was out of town, his urology team was at my bedside on a daily basis checking on the progress of my healing and making sure everything was okay. After I left OHSU, I went to Europe to spend some time recovering with family. While I was in the UK I had the opportunity to meet with Professor Anthony Mundy who is regarded as the world's foremost reconstructive urological surgeon. When Professor Mundy saw the work performed by Dr. Dugi he was stunned at the meticulous work and the fast rate of healing. Professor Mundy made it clear that I couldn't have found a better surgeon to perform this extremely difficult reconstruction. Since then, Dr. Dugi has always been available via phone and/or email and always responds to my communications extremely promptly, usually the same day. I consider myself the luckiest man on Earth to have this amazing Doctor. Dr. Dugi didn't just save my urological system - he saved my dignity and changed my life forever. Thank you to Dr. Dugi and the entire team at OHSU!!

OHSU Urology is wonderful and I am so glad we chose Dr. Dugi. He's amazing and I can't believe we have someone with his expertise in Portland.

I will never recover from what Dr. Dugi did to me, I am young but due to what Dugi did I can no longer have sex. I cannot believe how bad the results are, it's like he has never performed surgery before, i have been to other urologists and they recommend additional surgery to fix what Dugi did, it's his fault and he does not accept responsibility for the bad job he did. I am probably going to sue.

I had an adult circumcision done. He did a very poor job as it looks like no operation I have ever seen... He made numerous errors and now I have skin permanently dangling in various areas and a completely bizarre appearance and poor function. He also did all this damage yet hardly removed any skin at all. However, Dugi insists he did a perfect job. What a horrible experience...

Had to wait for over an hour to see Dugi. He was rushed and rude and said he would contact me within a month about my issue. Never called! After 3 calls to his office, I still haven't heard from him. Save your money and your time!

Waited for over an hour only to be rushed through my appointment. Poor communication skills. Unsympathetic and failed to understand my problem. Basically, a rude man with a displeasing attitude. Avoid like the plague.
