When I told Dr. Emmett, I had issues with nausea, he said, "That's why we give the prep over two days." He did not offer anything for nausea. After drinking the prep the night before, I took the second dose the next morning. Unfortunately, it all came back up and my procedure was canceled. Unforturnately, the effects of the medication were still in my system, so I suffered the same issues for nothing. If the doctor had simply ordered something for nausea, I could have in all likelihood had the colonoscopy.

The nurse is not professional. She acted like an adolescent. I was having a bad day and instead of taking care of herself she went to my sisters that were with me at the waitng room and told them to take me to another Dr. I never did anything to her. I like Dr. Emmett but I don't think the nurse should of gone to my sisters and tell them what she said to them

Dr. Emmett is a wonderful doctor. He is very kind and understands the urgency of some situations - even when other doctors have not. He does everything possible to assist you in getting the needed test and referral’s to proceed. I am very grateful for his assistance.

I found Dr. Emmett to be a very kind, reassuring and understanding doctor. Not to mention his awesome staff, from the nurses, techs, appointment setters to check in. I had one minor misunderstanding about payment when I initially scheduled my appointment, but the staff handling my check-in for my procedure were so kind and helpful and very apologetic. One other thing I found awesome. They give you a pamphlet on how to proceed with nutrition and supplement to prevent colon cancer. I feel confident about my future care with this doctor/staff.
