Dr. Daniel Joseph Fitzsimmons, MD

Dr Fitzsimmons truly has a calling for kids. He is always respectful, always kind, always humble, and always thorough. He is attentive to the parents, draws them into the appointment unlike some who ignore the parents and only treat the child. I love that he never makes my children nervous or acts annoyed with all 4 of them in the room. He was eager to meet each of them when we first moved to the area and had the 4th child. He goes beyond the medical needs and suggests cognitive things like chess club and Spanish skills.

I think Dr. Fitzsimmons is a great doctor. Since moving to the new location it seems they have taken on too many patients. He doesn't seem to take the time like he used to and always seems in a hurry. The office is open late on Wed. evenings until 8pm for people who work or cant get there during the day. They have now stopped doing physicals in the evenings which makes it hard for me since my family has 1 vehicle and my husbands works 45 miles away during the day. We also live 30 miles from the doctor office so that doesn't make it any easier but I love Dr. Fitzsimmons. The office staff at the front desk seem to not care and no patience. I understand they are busy but there is no reason I should have to be on hold long distance for 30 minutes trying to schedule appts. for 2 of my children.

Great doctor. Took all his time with my children. Very friendly doctor. My kids love him. He explains everything to parents. Awesome!

Dr. Fitzsimmons is good with my kids. He remembers them from visist to visit. He has good bedside manners and talks to my kids about what is wrong, not me (there mother) which they like because it makes them feel grown up. The office staff leaves a little to be desired, but the nurses are good.
