Dr. Daniel Timothy Flaming, MD

This doctor is AWFUL! He is now located in Camarillo where I unfortunately wasted my time and money. He just wants to push his own compounded meds (costing for $250 to $450 a pop) and doesn’t put any real effort into the appt. He just jotted down a few notes on a pad of paper and handed it to me at the end of the appt. The office decor and location is also horrible - basically empty. His assistant was untrained thus taking 4 times longer to take my info. She made me call his other assistant at another office to pay for the compound meds. No receipt was provided or sent to me. The office looks like he just rented a couple rooms and didn’t even decorate them at all. No care is put into anything. I didn’t find him friendly either. Save yourself the time and money! Good luck if you go I hope your experience is better than mine!

My 1st appointment was at 8:00 AM and I showed up early but no one was at the desk to check me in, when I met Dr. Flaming he told me how important his time was and to not let it happen in the future. Put me on a drug that I said I was allergic to and guess who suffered from his error. Not to be trusted with issuing meds! Extremely disappointed!

Recommended by a person I know... I went to see Dr. Fleming after 5 months prior to my first patient zoom visit. I had been saving up concerns/issues I wanted to discuss, as I am not the type to run to the doctor for every little ache and pain. I started to explain my list of things so he could get a full picture of what was going on with me physically and he said rather rudely "I only have time for one thing" I waited months to see him in person! I was shocked at his lack of concern and his condescending attitude. Being a retired nurse I have dealt with many doctor egos, but his big ego is at the top of the charts. He needs to be a great clinician to have that kind of ego. I am assessing that he isn't by his lack of care and by just ordering the same (ineffective) medication I have been on for years. Thanks for wasting my time and money Dr. Fleming. I hope others don't bother with you.

Dr. Flaming was recommended by a good friend of mine who's family was seeing him, and I was a patient of his for years before he moved. I have never had a doctor who was so caring and truly LISTENED to his patients. So often, you have doctors who are know-it-alls and dismiss your symptoms or show little interest in your own findings. Dr. Flaming is the complete opposite - he takes your symptoms VERY seriously as well as your overall health. No one knows their body like you do, and he GETS THAT!! He also spends a tremendous amount of time to not only listen but ensure he completely understands the full picture. He's extremely methodical with how, what, and when he prescribes any medications, taking them very seriously and ensuring the proper treatment is being delivered. Dr. Flaming is humble, caring, and a genuinely kind man. I was a patient, as was my husband and several friends, for many years in Texas. I was so fortunate to be under his care and wish he hadn't moved. He would… have been my doctor for life! Dallas/Plano would welcome him back with open arms!

I have never written, nor responded to, any online anything, but I really feel that I must now. Dr Flaming became my primary doctor about a yr ago; I had always had the same major complaints for various doctors in the past—for years. Not only did Dr. Fleming take time with me on several occasions, he looked at me, maintained eye contact, stuck to my concerns, discussed options with me and gave me information I had not known before. Best of all, he has worked with me to resolve my issues. I am much healthier and feel much better. I owe it all to him. So, I don’t know which Dr Fleming the other reviewers saw, but I can tell you it wasn’t the doctor I see and would recommend to anyone without reservation. I love him!

I went for my first appointment and the doctor was quite honestly rude and unpleasant. He really didn't want to answer my questions and was quite condescending. One of the worst doctor's visits I have ever had. I cannot recommend him.

I was asking him questions I had written down about my health and he asked me how many more questions I had because he had a limited amount of time. I felt like he cared more about his time than my health concerns. Yes he is on time, but at a cost to the patient.

Dr. Flaming was rude and condescending towards me. Argued with me when I was attempting to explain my symptoms. Then rolled his eyes and stifled a laugh when I asked to be referred to a specialist. I went to another doctor and found that I had a serious medical problem that would have gone untreated had I relied on Dr. Flaming. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr Flaming is unprofessional and writes a video he thinks you should watch or a blog you should follow on a piece of paper and hands it to you. Dr Flaming told me he knows nothing about multiple sclerosis, refused to help me due to the pain in my eye from a lesion that is there and accused me of being a pill seeker. He refused to refer me to pain management. Dr Flaming is NOT there for you! He cares only about himself and wants you out of his rooms as quick as possible.
