Dr. Daniel Lane Friedlich, MD

I'm 86 years male in good health. I came to Dr. Friedlich in January 2025 with Spinal Stenosis. The Laminectomy surgery was a success, and I cannot thank Dr. Friedlich enough for giving my life back. without chronic pain in my legs and feet. I'm looking forward to my hiking in the future.

I would give 100 Stars if I could. Dr Daniel Friedlich performed surgery on my spine. For the first time in 4 years I am pain free. Dr Friedlich is an EXCELLENT Neurosurgeon. I am very grateful for his kindness, compassion, and skill in fixing my spine. I am beyond grateful to this man.

Dr. Friedlich is simply the whole package one demands when seeking “help”, for my back pain. He listens, he observes in his exam, he’s straight in his findings and will tell you if he can help you or not and advises accordingly. Surgery was successful! I was referred to this doctor from my primary doctor because I was involved in a car accident and have had ongoing back issues making it difficult for me to work. I had an MRI performed and scheduled a consult with Dr Friedlich to read the results and discuss options of what direction I needed to take to help with this back injury. I paid a $400 cash payment for the office visit and waited to see Dr friedlich. He came in and acted as if it was an inconvenience to have to speak with me. This was the most unprofessional, rudest doctor I have ever dealt with. He said I have the report for your MRI here. I asked "ok can you let me know what it says and what do you recommend I do to fix my back", The doctor literally said I can print the report for you. He recommended I request other people to do parts of my job for me that I am unable to do because of my injured back. He offered no diagnosis or a treatment plan for me. I left his office feeling conned, as he took $400, and spend less then… 10 minutes with me basically acting annoyed that he had to be there for that 10mins. If I could give him less then 1 star he would be deserving. I will now need to look for another neurosurgeon to help me address my back pain as this doctor doesn't feel the need to actually do his job.

My mother is 90 years old and was forced to wait 3.5 hours sitting in a wheel chair in the doctor's office. When I voiced my concerns the staff acted like they were doing us a favor. The whole waiting room was voicing their disgust and on of the staff asked that we be more respectful, which meant how dare you criticize us. By time we saw the doctor my mother was incredibly uncomfortable, freezing and hungry. The doctor came into the examination room with an attitude and did not even look at my mother. He began to escort us out and I asked is that it don't you need to examine her/ he then did a 3 minute exam and once again escorted us out. He stated she will need a CT scan. I asked if the CT scan does not show any condition that requires another visit can he please call me with the results so that another unnecessary visit can be avoided. He said no she will have to come in. I asked for what and why would you want to put her through this again for nothing. His answer was it is office… policy. His staff also said that he could not call. I asked why and they said he had no time. I said why don't one of you call me and tell me if another appointment is necessary. They said they couldn't because of office policy. I felt that this doctor only cared about creating another appointment so he could charge Medicare for another visit. It seemed to me he had little regard for his patient.

I would highly recommend Dr. Friedlich for any type of back surgery. He helped me tremendously.

Dr. Friedlich is a wonderful doctor! He spent a lot of time with me during my office visits, arranged for my care in the hospital, and skillfully performed surgery on my spine! I recommend him highly!

My sister, Kimberly, had a tragic accident May of 2013. We thank God that we were blessed with Dr. Friedlich. My sister's recovery from brain surgery has been nothing short of exceptional! My family can never thank Dr. Friedlich enough.

Dr. FRIEDLICH is a pretty awesome Dr. I went to him when i had a herniated disc In my neck and it was pinching off most of my spinal chord in my c-5 and c-6. Even though he was a very busy guy he still made enough time for me and even enough time to see me in the hospital after the surgery! I am very glad i went to him. I no longer have problems with my neck. Dr. Freidlich is a nice guy who knows what he is doing. I would deff. Go to him again and I would send anyone to him.
