Dr. Daniel Mark Geller, MD

I have worn glasses since I was 18 months old because of a congenital defect in my left eye. As I've aged, my right eye has also developed several issues. I was with the same ophthalmology practice in Nashville, TN for all of my childhood and most of my adult life until I moved to Virginia several years ago. I went to an ophthalmologist here for several years, but I never felt the severity of my eye problems were taken seriously, so eventually I made an appointment with Dr. Geller on the recommendation of a relative. FINALLY! Finally I felt like I was in the hands of an excellent ophthalmologist again! He spent a lot of time with me, did several tests, then did a couple more upon seeing the results of those tests. He gave me a diagnosis and advice similar to what I knew to be the case from my lifetime of care in Nashville. I am so pleased and so confident that I've finally found an ophthalmologist who will care for my eyes and help me retain what sight I still have. The office… and front desk are also quite pleasant, and I'm pleased that I can get my glasses prescription filled in the same location.

He's always calm and methodical when examining my eyes. He takes notes and refers to them on my next visit. I feel very confident in his care. He refers me to other specialists if he has any concerns. He makes sure I understand the seriousness of my condition and the importance of annual tests. He explains his treatment rationale. He is always very nice. He has taken care of me for years. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking quality eye care. I also recommend this practice. The office staff is superb. I began with Dr. Dressler many years ago and have never had a problem of any kind during a visit to the office. I like Dr. Geller very much.
