Dr. Daniel Scott Guilfoil, MD

My experience with this doctor was NOT a good one. He seems to be very cold and uncaring. He's actually quite rude. He happened to be one of the doctors at the practice I went to for years and I only saw him a couple of times. I avoided him like the plague after those few times. He's one of those doctor's that made me feel like he truly didn't give a d*mn . I would rather wait to see ANY other doctor besides him.

I don't want to give too much identifying information, but he made me lose my ovary because he incorrectly diagnosed my condition. A resident suggested my diagnosis to him early on, but he brushed it off, and by the time I got my surgery it was already too late--my ovary was necrosed. When speaking to other ob/gyn physicians, they all mentioned they would've done the proper testing to correctly diagnose my condition and possibly save my ovary. After Dr. Guilfoil found out my diagnosis, he was very sheepish and left the room in a hurry when he gave me the diagnosis that he had previously brushed off. In addition to his incompetence, he does not care for his patients. From my experience and speaking to others, his priority is doing the least work possible and getting home as soon as possible. If you care about your health, do not see this doctor.

Just ok
