Dr. Daniel H Kellum Jr, DO

I have been a patient of this facility for years.. I used to be well taken care of but it all changed once my NP moved. I have been going through serious health issues regarding my heart. I had a heart Surgery back in May if this year due to a hole in my heart and i unfortunately have not stabilized yet. I almost died 3 weeks ago, due to my heart condition and I am in dire need of a new/better Cardiologist. I found one that i like and due to the urgency of this situation, my new cardiologist was able to get me in for next week and just told mento have my pcp send a referral and thats all thats needed. So i just called this facility to get that process started, i am extremely weak, having shortness of breath due to my severe tachycardia.. i spoke to a female representative in that office. I told her why i was calling, verified my information and i attempted to tell her what i needed. And instead of treating me like a human being.. this female representative that works in the referral… dept spoke to me in an incredibly rude, disrespectful manner. She kept cutting me off, over talking me, being sarcastic.. i even told her “look i am sick, im already going through alot can you at least be professional and respectful because you are coming off extremely rude” and instead of her apologizing, she argued me down as to why she is not rude (very ironic) . I told her in such a kind manner that i am the recipient and that she is coming off so disrespectful and she repeated herself over and over in a threatening, unprofessional tude manner that she is not being rude. Im short of breath, can barely breathe, my heart rate is 151bpm and im sitting still not moving.. for my health sake i just had to hang up. I cant risk my health due to being treated badly for no reason. That call is recorded and i would like for corporate to reach out to me. I feel discriminated against. I feel threatened, and now im concerned my health is at risk due to be not being successful in obtaining this cardiology referral that i urgently need in order to sustain my life and my health. It is ridiculous that every interaction with this facility is so hostile. I no longer feel safe at a patient at this facility and as a nurse myself, i am highly offended and disappointed.

The problem is the referral department

I just started going to see Dr. Daniel Kellum on my brother's recommendation. I couldn't be happier with my decision. He has taken care of issues that I didn't even realize could be helped. I feel better, I sleep better and am back into working out without pain. Thank you Dr. Kellum, you are truly a blessing!

My husband and mom both went here and neither ever received follow up on tests that were ran despite calling over and over and over. If we waited on them my husband and mom might be dead by now. Horrible service. Thank goodness there are other doctors in the area.

I have been with the Kellums for over 25 years. Art Campsey is very caring. The Kellum's staff is like family. They are always friendly

I recommend Dr. Kellum Junior to whoever knows me well and listens he’s a great doctor, not to say he’s got the best staff ever! Dr. Kellum, takes total care of me and keeps other doctors that only want to give you and toFalls diagnose you for their own financial satisfaction. My husband has come to this clinic twice now for physicals and twice for the follow-up appointments. During the two times he has yet to even see one of the doctors. Yesterday we went in for lab results and waited for over 2 hours. My issue is they didn't have the courtesy enough to call or tell us upon arrival that the Dr. had an emergency and had to leave the two PAs covering all appointments. I'm not sure what the emergency was, but we asked the receptionist three times how much longer the wait would be and she always assured us that we were going to be seen shortly. The last time she told me there were only two patients left to be seen and that my husband was up next. I politely told her that we were the only ones left in the waiting room, so the only patient left to be seen was my husband. Once called back, we waited for at least 20 minutes in the room for the PA to enter and go over my husband's lab results...for a physical...that took her 4 minutes, and that's her trying to… stretch it out. I typically don't write reviews, but I think some serious self-reflection is needed by whoever runs that office, especially after reading all the other reviews and it seems to be the same complaint. Even though the office location is super convenient, I'd rather drive 20 or 30 minutes to be seen by someone else rather than deal with this again.

Very caring empathetic Dr. soft spoken and informative. Everyone should be c grateful that he is still a very caring individual. It’s a disgrace there is not many like him left. Experience a visit if you can. You owe it to yourself just for the experience. You can always return to whom you saw before. I do understand all opinions are different. My family and I have had Dr. Daniel Kellum Jr. as our Primary Care Physician for over 15 years. I trust every medical decision he makes for us. Dr. Kellum is a warm, kind hearted person and physician. Dr. Kellum is always very attentive to his patients needs. He always has the time to explain and answer all your questions thoroughly and he understands all your concerns. His office staff has always been prompt in assisting us to schedule office appointments and referrals. I highly recommend Dr. Kellum Jr to anyone who needs a caring and dedicated physician.

Dr Kellum actually cares about his patients. Dr Campsey is a PA working there and is fantastic. He talks to you, not down to you. No bull and has a sense of humor. Bothe are good guys and good doctors. My wife goes here as well. I recommend them. Hart and Phyllis Tollett
