Dr. Daniel Edward Krampitz, MD

Dr. Krampitz was not particularly attentive or interested during the consultation. Despite being goaded to give his recommendations to me, he remained vague providing poor information that was already covered by my PCP. Instead of giving his recommendations he continually asked me what I wanted to do as far as medication vs. non-medication. When asked about efficacy of different options he remained vague and hurried. He stepped out of the room twice to answer pages. He has a very odd affect. He is clearly intelligent and knowledgeable but is not a 'people' person and has a terrible bedside manner. I would not recommend him at all. He wanted to see me again to see how his 'wikipedia' suggestions were working for my migraines, but I suspect it was just a ploy to get another consult charge out of my insurance. I now understand his poor ratings on healthgrade websites. That also might expain why he was the first Dr. with an available time slot. The office staff itself was nice enough.… They seemed a little disorganized and I'm relatively certain they forgot (or wasn't told by Dr. Krampitz) that I was sitting in the exam room for 20 minutes unattended. It was easy to set an appointment and interacting with the staff was a pleasant enough experience.

I wasn't very happy with Dr Krampitz . He didn't seem to listen to me at all . I was having severe headaches along with numbness in my arms on and off but by far the headaches were my main concern. he focused on my arm and hand said i had carpal tunnel and did nerve conduction study then told me i needed surgery asap or i would loose function of my hands. He never wanted to repeat my MRI of my neck After a consult with a surgeon I have a herniated disk at C3 that is causing everything you would think a neuro dr would have found that. He only wanted to treat me with meds i didn't need .

By far my favorite neuro I have seen! He has done more for me in the past few months than I could have hoped. He has listened to my symptoms, he answers all of my questions and is always professional! He is responsible and reliable. I truly feel he cares about his patients and will continue to see him as long as I need to!

He spent very little time with me and did not seem to care about how I was feeling. He basically said come back in a month. I guess so he can make another $300 for nothing :(

Too long in getting test results.

I would reccommend Dr. Krampitz. He's been my Dr. for about 8 years. Also, his office staff and MA's are wonderful!
