Dr. Daniel Freeburg Lonergan, MD

Dr. Lonergan's expertise is definitely in his specialty of Anesthesiology. I haven't experienced any bedside manner as I was prepped by an intern. I have greatly disappointed with the people who make the appointments. I waited almost 4 weeks to see Dr. Lonergan the first time for any epidural. His technique was flawless. However when I made an appointment for another epidural approximately 2 months later, I waited for an appointment for 2 weeks. Luckily I called before my appointment (which is 30 minutes drive for me) and "Dr Lonergan was on vacation!! No one had called me to tell me the appointment was cancelled. If I had not called, I would have arrived ONLY to be disappointed and very angry. My advice is to make sure you call before you go!!.

It is impossible to describe how highly I think of Dr. Lonergan, and would strongly recommend him to anyone struggling with chronic pain and the attendant substance abuse problems often associated. He listened to me when no one, and I mean no one, would believe the level of pain I was in due to Chronic Lyme Disease. He is duel certified in both pain management and addiction and got my pain to a manangeable level while helping me end my addiction to prescription pain killers. He is absolutely the best, I had almost lost hope before meeting Dr. Lonergan.

I could not say enough positive things about Dr. Lonergan. He did everything he could to keep me comfortable both before and after a failed back surgery. He obviously cares deeply about his patients and I trust him completely, At his urging, I finally had the 2nd operation which was successful. If I ever need an interventional pain Dr. again, he'll be my #1 choice.
